Largest Facebook Or Buddy List You've Ever Seen..

What is the largest Facebook.. or Buddy List, that forum members have ever seen, or heard of?

I was on Facebook earlier today, and noticed that someone who is a friend.. of a friend.. has 1041 friends on Facebook! (The person with 1041 friends is a female. btw. but that's besides the point)

My friend who knows the person with 1041 friends.. has about 200 plus friends himself on Facebook.

My Facebook buddy list is currently.. 21. (Yes, I know. I'm.. anti social, lol). Anyone who knows me knows that isn't true. My TMF buddy list is 70 plus.,. and at another fetish site, I have greater than 100, many of whom I haven't heard from in years.

So.. that's the question. What is the largest buddy list or Facebook list you've ever seen or heard of? For me.. it;s the 1041.

My last dating/relationship coach had almost 5,000 friends. Apparently that's the limit for the amount facebook friends you can have.

Wow, dan. almost 5000 is a ton. Maybe I can see it in your dating coach's case, as perhaps some of them were clients or couneslees. This person that has the 1041 people on her list is 18 years old, and still in HS, so she definitely isnt a dating coach. She's just a student, with maybe a side job, as far as I know.

Glad to know there are some others out there with giant buddy lists.

I'm nearing 1300. All of whom i've met or are acquaintances. Part of living a social lifestyle. I have friends in every major city. But I have friends that are models or entertainers that are at the 5000 threshold.

LD, I can understand why you said 200 feels cluttered.

I'm thinking back to the most social time in my life.. college. I knew tons of people then. I belonged to Circle K, a charity orginization. I dont recall exactly how many members we had.. but.. even if I had every single one of them on my buddy list.. plus the people I knew on my floor, and talked to in my classes who were more than just "Hi, whats up".. it wouid be.., 100 to 200.. max..

I know I probably need to get more people on my Facebook list. Its' just.. between work.. my time spent here, and my other fetish forums.. I dont seem to have time for it. Eventually, I'll have to try and search out some past people I knew, to get it up there.

Why would you keep in touch with so many people? And, be sincere; at the same time?

I knew someone in high school that had hit the maximum friends requirement on Facebook, he would add anyone that he may have even remotely knew. I personally had to end up blocking him because he would just keep spamming me with request @_@

I have about 400 friends on FB, but for me social media such as FB and Twitter is esseantial due to my work. So I guess my list will continue growing 🙂

Jager has a good point.,. about keeping in touch with so many people. As for the sincere part, while I see what you're saying, I feel its not my place to judge anyone else who isn't affecting me directly, as to whether they are "sincere" or not.

tsu, thats weird about the guy you knew. I can see why you blocked him.

me4, I can see why your buddy list is large, if you need it for your work. I have several business associates on my list, from past and present businesses.

I love my friend list. I'm a social guy that meets many new people in the various phases of my life and it's great to keep in touch with them. Any major city in the US I go to I already have friends waiting. Any expertise I might need I can find on my friends list. We share photos, experiences, articles and ideas. Some friends are added and I never see them again. Others are added and years later we become best friends again. Some old flames delete me when they see me dating someone else, but I wish they wouldn't because you never know when we might hook up again. I've even dated friends of friends who saw my photo on someone else's Facebook.

I like it.
