eh, it was pretty mixed. my voice sounded horrible in my lesson and my teacher jumped all over my shit for it because apparently i'm not improving at all. so that sucked. but i had a dress rehearsal with my r&b band and we sounded sooo good and it made me feel a lot better.

now i have to write a paper about vivaldi that's due tomorrow and study for a test about classical music, which is also tomorrow.
 
Wow, pretty busy eh! Good luck on the paper and the test, I"m sure you'll do great. Sorry the lesson didn't go so well... I'm sure you're allowed to have the odd "off day", lol.

I didn't know you were in a band, that's awesome! 😀 R&B too! Are you the vocalist or do you play an instrument as well?

i'm just the vocalist. it's for school. i'm in a little jazz one too. i only get credit for the jazz band because i got recruited into r&b a few days after the drop/add deadline.

the jazz band is kinda boring. i've been doing jazz for a few years now, so i guess maybe i'm burnt out on it. i loooove the r&b band though. so much fun. our concert's in a week. 🙂

I like jazz too, but in doses... so I can see how you might get bored of it now and again.

haha, funny you should mention that. we're doing "piece of my heart" too, and it's kicking my ass because janis is superhuman, but i love it just the same.
