LI munch follow up (making it up to everyone)

I guess I'll try to make it. Really depends who else is going. I don't want to be the only girl there.
Might get weird.
 
The first gatherings for NEST and the West Coast Gatherings both had a single woman attending. It's the nature of women to be more cautious about large events. Once one attends, others attend. Seems that you're the first lady of your event set, sister.

But with that aside, I'm back to coordinate the munch.
 
Dear Munch attendees,

For those who are new to this thread, my name is thetickler18, and I'm the man responsible for this event.
So I've been looking over the plans for the munch and something told me, "we can do things even better".

So here's the situation:

Over the years I've been a member of the tickling community, I was planning a separate event.
A meetup with members of my foot, bondage, and tickling themed Deviantart group, and in the past few days the final phases of planning the event are reaching completion.

But I had gained an awesome idea.

To get right to the point I'm merging the two events, the Long Island munch, and the Deviantart meetup, into one massive event.
First of all, for this revised event we're going all out, we will be spending a few days together in what I consider the heart of New York, Manhattan.

Second of all, there will be several rules and regulations put into effect for this gathering:

-No one under 18 is authorized.

-No one under 21 is authorized alcohol.

-Respect each other.

-No photos or practicing your fantasies on others without their consent.

-No hostile behavior to meetup members or citizens of the city.

If we follow these rules, we can avoid conflict and we can all have an awesome time.

As for the date of the meetup, we are aiming for:September 20th, 2015

The reason for this far off date is to make sure we have all the time we need to make the proper preparations.
Further information such as exact times and schedules for each day of the meetup, as well as the length of the event, will come at a later date.
Until then, we will be putting together a final screening process to make sure that each attendee who sounds off below meet our requirements of age.

First of all, no one from Long Island is going all the way to Manhattan. The whole point of a LONG ISLAND munch was for it to take place on LONG ISLAND for LONG ISLANDERS. It was a pain in the ass for half of us to even travel as far as Port Jeff.

And secondly, tickle fans don't want to be bothered with fanfic writers to say nothing of people we don't even fucking know -_-

Totally lame idea and you kinda just fucked all the Long Islanders.

I'm sorry that you feel that the major change to the meet location has upset you but i have done it because there are more people, not only in the long island area, whom have wanted to go, so instead of making multiple meets around New York it was just easier to put it all in one location that people would feel more comfortable with.

I'm also sorry that you have such a simple view on the Deviantart community, for we are not just fan-fic writers, some of our group members are extremely talented artists, and photographers.

So in conclusion, I apologize that you have such feelings to the recent changes of our meetups plans, while it's entirely up to you if you wish to attend. (it would be great if you could) We understand if you are unable to attend, and hope you are able to attend future meetups.

Please. I'm not unable to attend. I just don't want to. Other people have voiced to me that they dislike the decision as well, and I just agree. It doesn't make sense to have a LONG ISLAND meet up in MANHATTAN and when people are already so secretive about their fetish, they're not gonna wanna meet a whole other community who doesn't get them.

Some people should really not be in charge of this stuff. I have half a mind to do it my fucking self. At least then, It'd be done right.
 
I'm still amazed this hasn't happened yet. No single organizer can please everyone. Just pick a day, time, and a place preferably one can get to by either car or public transportation. If it helps, the last few tickling munches I have been to in both Manhattan and L.I., no more than 7-10 people showed. So keeping things small will work.

The main thing is try not to get stressed out about it. I host 2 figure drawing events and I co-host a kink munch, while I may not be familiar with L.I. much(or at all really, only been there 3 times), if I can be of some help with planning, feel free to ask.
 
I know right? This "planning" has gone on far too long. It was cancelled the first time because the guy got too overwhelmed and freaked out. If you can't handle it, leave it to someone else who can. Geez.
 
To be honest I suggest start off small. The last LI Tickle munch I attended only had 3 people. It was nice meeting them
