Looks like a rip off

I got this letter in the mail yesterday from the guy that has the
Dial Company. Goes by the name of Hysterical Squealing. Anyway, he's
offered to sell me copies of nine tickle tapes at $20 apiece. The
only problem is they're dupes of tapes. The originators are, Flying
Feathers, TC Real Tickling, Magic Touch, Fm Concepts, ANA, and
Consensual Touch.
I have to admit it's a bargin but I feel that he's ripping off the
folks that made these tapes originally. I'm not going to buy any of
these pirates. What I'd like is a little feed back on what y'all think
about it. I know I'd be pissed if I spent my time and money to produce
a tickling tape and knew that people like this were selling my product
at less than half the price. If I'm wrong about my thinking I'd
appreciate y'all telling me where I'm wrong.

Duplicating tapes is illegal, and selling duped tapes is twice as illegal. Would you please forward me the email you received to [email protected], so that I can take the appropriate steps?

It's unreal that anyone would try something like that, especially so blatantly! Despite the FBI warnings, law enforcement has never cared that much about single tapes being duped for private use (there's never been a prosecution), but SELLING duped tapes? For profit??? Making a business out of it?????? That's very, very illegal. Not to mention sickening. No one on this forum should touch this "offer," and the original producers should go to the FBI.

Office from him. I paid for a tape from him several years ago. It was
his first video. I suppose I'm on his mailing list. It turned out to
be a cheesy video anyway. He can't tickle for shit. He has a dynamite
ticklee (his girlfriend he says) Since then I've been to his site
probably a half a dozen times. I never did order another video from
him.
I appreciate the positive feedback I'm getting. I guess I just want
to get the word out that this kind of thing is going on. Selling your
collection on e-bay is one thing...but I believe he's making copies
of these tapes to resale.

I believe that it is legal to make copies of copyrighted works that you already own (like copying a CD for the car), or making a compilation of singles and burning a CD of songs that you have paid for (one copy). The same is true for videos.

This falls under the fair use principle that allows for videotaping broadcast programs but not rental tapes, or selling any copies.

I would appreciate it if you would make a copy of the letter and mail it to me. You've made a pretty serious claim against this guy, and it needs to be verified.

Ah, morality... I'm glad to see that the majority of the people here don't support such actions from these scum that do these things. As U.N. Owen stated, no one has ever been prosecuted for doing this, so the only defense that we have is to not indulge in these scams. We have to respect the efforts of all who produce such tape for us, wether or not we like everything they do, or not, because if we don't, what incentive do they have to continue?😕

I also got the same advertisement/offer in the mail that started this thread. I believe he's selling duped tapes. If I recall correctly the MTP Tape he offered was Ivy Tickling Her Mother.

Unfortunately I threw the mail away.

Jeff and Tib. If he's duping and selling your tapes then he had to have bought your movies in the past to get started doing this. That means you have his name, address, and even credit card info on file! A good start for prosecution. I think he calls himself Bill Edwards. Go get em!

Actually, what I said was that no one had ever been prosecuted for pirating videos for private home use. People HAVE been prosecuted for SELLING pirated videos, and for showing them for profit. Repeatedly, in fact. That is a crime the FBI will pursue. So there is legal recourse if the piracy can be verified. That's why it's important to get a copy of the letter to TC and MTP.

Well...it's looking good so far. I've seen a lot of positive feedback. A couple of responders (?) have been on the other side of
the fence. I'm just a little gear in this great big machine so I'm
not going to persue this farther. Other than to respond to what I've
seen here. I remember years ago when I first started corresponding
with ANA....she had pirate tapes to sell. I was just like any other
ticklephile. I bought a few. The quality wasn't that good so I guess
it was an even trade off. Personally I don't think Ana is that
ticklish. But then again....opinions are like assholes and everybody
has one.
Way back in the 70's there was this guy (Tobias Hackner). I got a
few things from him. He claimed to start a "Tickling Family" but it
was plain to see that he was just a rip off artist. Thanks to the
internet and the lovely people that contribute to this ...people like
him are out of business....I suppose. I know I haven't seen his name
in years...but I have seen other opinions like mine.
My wife had a site a few years ago. Ms.Tickle. was her name. We tried to keep it free. A lot of stocking foot pics (my favorite) and
a few tickle pics...but alas ... someone hacked it and fucked it up.
So much for that. I know it cost money to keep a site up. I salute the
folks that do. And won't patrinize the ones that won't. Hopefully we'll have another site one day.
Anyway...has any of you informed the people that were the ones
getting ripped off about this letter? If you like I'll post the damn
thing. Then you can see word for word what the content was.

I'm NOT slandering ANYONE. I DID receive the same mail the starter of this thread received. I was surprised at first and threw it away. It wasn't until later when I got access to my computer that I saw that someone else had received the SAME email. Honestly I could give a rats ass if anyone here feels they are being ripped off, HOWEVER I figured I'd take time out of MY day to do you and TIB a favor by validating the originators post. In a court of law that would be MORE than enough, two reasonable peoples words. I'm sorry I don't save all my mail that I consider junk. I've bought many tapes from you in the past and take GREAT offense that you'd even consider saying good people, who are trying to HELP you are slandering a person who is ripping you off
Now because on my worst day I'm probably at least 15% more intelligent that you'll ever be on your BEST day I'll give you a good common sense solution, even though I have no idea why I'd do this for someone who seems to be as ungrateful as you do.
The website I posted HAS the the guys email address. WHY not email him and tell him a friend of yours recently showed you an ad that he received with a bunch of videos that were for sale. That the ad had been lost and you're interested in buying a tape or to. AND could he send you the ad.

Gee YA think that might work. Christ, I haven't felt well, I go out of MY way along with at least one other guy to warn you that someone is ripping you off and you act like my damn niece when she doesn't get EVERYTHING she wanted for her birthday.


Sorry to anyone who feels like I'm out of line. I might very well be, BUT given Jeffs business is the one being ripped off and given a couple people had the courtesy to warn him, WHY the hell is he busting on us, INSTEAD of getting his own damn proof.
