First of all, I only like to watch F/m and F/f photos and videos, so for me the 'ler has to be a woman.

I look for two things: First, a genuine smile of enjoyment on her face showing that she loves what she is doing. Second, a gleam in her eyes showing that she loves keeping the 'lee in a state of helpless laughter.

In terms of videos, I like a good looking (female) ler who is experienced. I don't like it, though, when they make faces at the camera and say really corny things.

I like seeing the Ler enjoying themselves. And not look like they are in the middle of performing surgery.

I also like seeing the Ler talking with the Lee. Bantering or not. Zentickling and MTP Jeff both have plenty of videos and clips where they do that. It makes it more personal and engaging.

It's also another way to cause amusing reactions to be pulled from the Lee. (See the video clip of Cassi and Jeff from NEST this past year.)

I dislike masks. I understand the appeal/desire for privacy, and I respect that. But in my eyes it takes a lot away. I can't see if they're enjoying themselves/etc.

I don't really care about attire, unless it's so unflattering/unattractive that I'm too busy being horrified in that then focusing on the actual scene.

My preference for the Ler is similar to the posts thus far. I’ve responded previously to similar topics that when the tickler really enjoys doing the tickling and more importantly ‘initiates’ the tickling, it creates (or at least I perceive) that ‘gleam’ (as Milagros mentioned) in her eyes. I also am a major fan of effective verbal torment. I do concur with Ryan’s comment that it cannot be too much.

What is not my particular cup of tea is all the ‘casual’ attire that seems to be very prevalent. A tickling session is a very sexual thing for me and I prefer it more as a ‘bed time’, erotic activity (lingerie, etc.).

I don't tend to watch much in the way of videos. But, when I do, it's the personality more than the looks that will catch my attention. A video can have a totally gorgeous lee & ler. But, that will mean little to me if there isn't some banter going back and forth between them...along with genuine tickling, of course. I want to see them both having fun. I want to see the verbal/psychological play as well as the physical. Without that, it really doesn't matter to me what either looks like.

I like to see a real connection and Dom-style tenderness between the 'ler and 'lee. Jeff will always be my all time favorite video 'ler, because he's amazing at being completely merciless but still taking the time to smooth her hair from her brow, make sure she's comfortable and can breathe (well, kinda sorta ) and keep her laughing from what he's saying as much as from the tickling. Well as someone into both F/F and F/M (and sometimes M/F - so thats three then) here are some random thoughts.

LEES
1) I do need to see the face of the Ticklee more than anything else. I could watch a whole video with just a close up of a Laughing face, but wouldn't waste a minute watching one that just featured a body part (which is usually feet).
2) Female Ticklees always look at their sexiest and most vulnerable to me wearing attractive skimpy lingerie, as opposed to full nudity. As a rule I don't like Lee's wearing everyday items like jeans and t-shirts. They remind me too much of mainstream tickling pictures, which as bizarre as you might think this is, I find voyeuristic and intrusive. As for male Lees, I want them to be wearing boxers only, and be skinny like me (as opposed to a bodybuilder type).

3) As the original question is about the LER's however, I don't like seeing a guy doing it, as I can't my mind away from him getting his jollies. TIB and his costume seemed to be able to get round this but few others have for me. Also most male Lers dialogue is boring and obvious, the only exception to this being The Ticklemaster at TickleCentral who is genuinely funny. The other problem especialy with male Lers is that they physically intrude too much into the screen (I want to see the female lee, not have the screen filled with the fat arse of the balding bloke tickling her).
4) For female LERS whether tickling females or males, I want them to be either an obvious dominant in full regalia, or naughty little girls (preferably two) who are full of mischief and have managed to get the Lee in a compromised and helplessly ticklish predicament.

Er you've slightly misunderstood me here. I am not referring to guys 'getting off' (you know that thing that involves genitalia).

However you are nearer the mark when you say 'satisfies his lust for tickling her'. Basically seeing another guy satisfying his lust in any form/context doesn't do it for me (sorry)
