Atlanta's magic number to be eliminated from the division title stands at 1, so, with a Mets win tonight at Florida, or a Braves loss at home versus Philly, the Braves are eliminated from the division. So, from a Braves fan, here is early congratulations on winning the NL East. Your team deserved it, they had a great season, and the Braves have played very poorly. I had hoped that when the division title streak came to an end for us, that it would be in some close, dramatic race that was decided at the end of September. Alas, it did not happen, and the Mets were dominant from early on. I think you will get 100 wins, and, as for Atlanta, we are 5 1-2 out of the wild card, so that seems highly unlikely for us.
