Damn, Mairead.....you're into the REAL stuff! Blind Willie also did the original "Statesboro Blues", which The Allman Brothers got a lot of milage out of.
And Skip is so eerie and unusual sounding. His 60s recordings have better sound, but his "Classic Early Recordings" on the Yazoo label is absolutley essential.

Some other great blues singers to check out:

Blind Blake(awesome delta ragtime picker)
Blind Willie Johnson(mainly a gospel singer and player, phenomenal powerhouse!)
Howling Wolf(my favorite blues singer, incredible voice)
John Lee Hooker(My other favorite, anything by him is great but the 50s and 60s material is best)
