Making Videos For FREE ?????

Ok, maybe I'm crazy, or not that money-hungry, but, if there are those who really LOVE tickling, why do they want to be PAID for making a video?
If someone approached me & asked me to be in a tickle video, I'd do it for nothing.
Tickling & foot fetish is a way of life for me, NOT a way to make money.
This is just a random thought that popped into my head.
What are your thoughts on this?

There are alot of people in professions that hate their job, yet do it and get paid for it.
There are those who are fortunate enough to be in professions who absolutely LOVE their work and jobs.

Why not get paid for doing something you love?

The problem is, getting what you pay for or Earning your....salary.😉 😀

Why should I bother when I know from multiple past experiences that this is exactly the kind of reception I will get? That's why I don't post any of my original stories or drawings here, or anything else for that matter, because I have been raked over the coals so many times by so many asshats.

I hear ya Mischief. There was a time when I was raked over the coals so damn much I felt like a human shish ka bob.

Amazing I am still around but glad I did not let the "asshats" keep me away.

I've thought about this too. It makes me mad whenever I have to pay for somethign that is very much a part of me and helps me keep my sanity, whether it is a magazine, a video, or whatever....

But then I think what if I did something I enjoyed, and found out there was a market for it? While I would be willing to do it for free, I would be much more content if I could get paid for it. I could pay bills and if I was laying out my personal time for the desires of others (since I'm not always "on") I'd like some consideration for my time.

So at this point in my thoughts I usually come to realize that Karl Marx was right all along.

Well of course they'll take the pay. I mean sure it's good to enjoy your work but they gotta make a living too. Which means either they get a job thus cutting down on the amount of time spent tickling/making videos, or get paid for making tickling videos and kill 2 birds with one stone.

It's because it IS way of life for some of us that there's nothing else we'd rather do.

It would never occur to me to ask my daughter's Kindergarten teacher or her pediatrician why they want to be paid, since they LOVE children so much. I assume that they've found what they want to spend the majority of their time doing in life, and they get paid for it so that they can survive and function. My partners and I feel the same way about Bellarisa Productions; we want to spend our time and effort putting out the best product we can, specifically because we have this kink so deeply and want to do things right; and the only way to truly devote ourselves to our company is to not have scramble to make $$ in other ways. (We all still have our day jobs, but we believe those days are numbered 😎 )

I have no doubt that you would perform in a video, tickling pretty girls, for free. But there's quite a bit more to it than that. Let me ask you, how often could you afford to pay for everything that goes into producing a *good* video from start to finish if you were going to be wonderfully magnanimous and just give them away? And are you honestly telling me that, given the chance to quit your current position and get paid to tickle lovely ladies, enough to live on and be comfortable, you'd refuse? I think not .

No one crabs at a cheerful farmer selling his apples, or doubts that he loves the land. But Lord help you if you're getting paid for doing something fun. (And that many wish they were doing, sorry guys but you know it's true). Then they question your integrity. Sad, but I'm getting used to it, like the other producers out here...🙄

I am NOT referring to 'professionals' (Models, actresses, etc.)
I am referring to the average Joe who would do this on weekends & in their spare time as something fun to do. NOT to make a living at it.
Of course, people who are in the 'business' should, get paid.
A 'good' video doesn't necessarily mean a HIGH quality video.
A 'good' video, to me anyway, is NOT based on the expensive 'professional' eqipment used to produce the video, but the content.
Like I said, I am NOT referring to those who make a living at it.
I'm referring to those of us who do NOT do this professionally.

lastly (Probably NOT), I have found, at times, that the BEST videos are the cheaply produced one. NOT all, but some. Why? Because it's what's ON the video, not how it was made.

ok... I think that the original poster had very magnanimous thoughts in mind. but have any of you ever known someone who sold pot? they love it. they sell it because they love it. they sell it to pay for their own head.

I'd have to agree with the bleary eyed Ayla ny. As much as I love free stuff and cuss n' swear everytime I write a check, most average Joes don't make really cool vidoes for free to give away because they are just that, "average". That's not what average people do. If I was better looking and made a more comfortable living I might even do this very thing. But I am bad looking and uncomfortable, so making videos for free as a hobby isn't in the cards at the moment.

Bella and TIB are above-average, and as such, they create some good things doing what they enjoy. They aren't creating these videos to sell, they create them because it involves what they love; they had good fortune in that there is a demand for this material and the wisdom that they could suppliment their income doing what they enjoy. Their altruism is, in fact, that their video prices are as low as they are. Even MTP has lowered prices recently. Remember the original cost of Cal Star videos? TJ Productions? Two words: "ka" and "ching". Or maybe those were the names of the original Siamese Twins in P. T. Barnum's circus; either way, they were somewhat pricy tapes.

If you ever visit one of the sci-fi conventions you'll find there booths filled with fanatsay combat weapons, gorgeous knifes and other such items. All made by people who both love metal work AND sci-fi, thus combining a job they enjoy with a hobby they love. But they aren't giving the weapons away. It is the average Joes that are buying them, enjoying their hobby on the weekends.

I mean, I WANT free tickling videos, too, but I pretty much accept that it isn't going to happen. Although if someone wants to prove me wrong thru action I'll send you my address!

if we COULD make videos for free, we WOULD...

problem is we are in the same boat as many. we don't have huge amounts of wealth or huge amounts of free time (which comes from wealth), so, like you, we CAN'T so we DON'T.

moral of the story? we have to at least make back financially what we put into our tickling videos. we don't have endless time and money to throw around.

so why then, do you insist that we do this for free? and get free copies to you as soon as we are done? we don't ask you for free copies of ticking videos that you made...

The thing is, quite often it's only the ler in the video who actually loves it in the way that we do. Models in tickling videos are often young girls who are desperately short of money and want to pay their way through college. They certainly wouldn't be in a video that loads of guys are going to (please excuse the following earthy term) wank over for free. The whole reason they do the shoot is to earn money! From the small numbers of girls I've spoken to on this subject, most are not enjoying the being tickled. Some hate it like poison, because they can't stand to be tickled, but that tuition needs paying.

While there are factors involved in making tickling videos that cost money, letting them out to people for free will never be an option.

I'm just saying that once in a great while, a few of us regulah peoples get together & have a fun time making a tickle video, then sending a few copies to those in the TMF community. THAT'S ALL.
Nothing more.
NOT a life-long commitment.

NOT something to make a career out of.

TIB's company has gorgeous girls and high-quality production all around. He has many return customers; why shouldn't he be successful? With all due respect, it's no one's business how much TIB or anyone else makes; I was taught that to ask such a thing is exceptionally rude no matter what the person's profession, and shows a true lack of proper upbringing. I am not bashing anyone's character I am merely making an observation is all, to quote ceaser.

At the heart of this thread is the notion that those of you who truly love tickling but don't want to run a video business should make videos and distribute them for free, for love of the kink and to give back to the community. No argument here, I think that's a lovely and selfless idea; I encourage anyone who wants to do so, people will be very grateful and may even return the favor 🙂.

Now having said that, forgive me if I rant a bit.
I am very, *very* weary of the people who fuss and whine about the price of videos and how little one gets for free, and (my favorite) how all the producers are making scads of money and living some amazing dream life. That's hilarious, fellas. Some of you have either met me at NEST or been to a gathering at my home, and you know that my little family is comfortable but FAR from wealthy. BellaRisa Productions is a fun and reasonably lucrative way to pay off my insane college debt, help us buy a home (we still rent) and hopefully pay for our children's educations down the line. Ain't no spanish villas or private jets on the horizon, I promise you 😛. TIB's company is older and bigger than mine, but I highly doubt he's making plans to buy his own island. Hell, when we DO make really good money we use it to increase the quality of the equipment and pay the models their ever-increasing fees. Not to be brusque, but if you've never run a business like this, and don't know what the overhead and other expenses are (and that's different for each individual producer), you really have no idea what you're talking about. Buy from us or don't but please be civil.
