I have always said that the worst thing about having a foot tickling fetish, or any fetish, is that someday you're gonna see something you really don't want to see. Today i saw my mother tickled. It made me want to go and drink fifty pints of beer very quickly in order to erase that memory forever. I am still thoroughly disgusted even though it lasted about 1 millisecond. I just want the memory to go away. Please don't ask any questions about this event or make any of the usual sexual/tickling references/questions. But perhaps some of you would commiserate me on having endured such a thoroughly unwholesome event that i cannot rid my mind of as I look through these boards.

Hey Ticklemad!

The only way I can answer this question is to try and put it into a little bit of perspective. It really all depends on what you're used to. I was speaking with some German girls doing their masters degree here in England. Obviously they were born and grew up in Germany and at some point the conversation turned to talking about upbringing and I asked if it was true that German (and most European) families tend to be less reserved than British families. I asked if it was true that they had seen their parents naked and they said 'Of course, haven't you?'. I don't know which party was more shocked. Me for knowing that they had seen their parents completely naked or them for not understanding why I hadn't seen my parents naked.
For me, seeing my mum and dad completely naked would be disturbing and I would want to get rid of that image. For the German girls it was just natural and they were happy with it.
Well, blessedly there has been very little tickling amongst my family and none at all for many many years (almost a decade). So when something that I regard as deeply sexual occurs involving my parents it is almost as bad as walking in on them naked or something.
I guess you are fine with the idea that upsets me because you saw/were involved with more family-orientated tickling.

I only laughed at this because it brought back a memory...I was about 15, 16 maybe and we were living in an apartment temporarily because my dad had just been transferred to Mass. The walls were paper thin and one morning I was awakened by this muffled sound that sounded like someone was strangling a cat. It was REALLY scary. My heart was racing, "OMG~what am I gonna DO?"

As I slowly woke up some more, I realized in horror what the sound was~My father and his wife getting it on! I was so mortified, I couldn't look at them for a week. They actually asked me if I was doing drugs because I was acting so weird (I wasn't, I was a total straightedge...) Never did tell them.

Thankfully, Uni, you'll make other memories that will push this one far back into your mind eventually. Hang in there...

I saw my mom and step dad ONCE.......

ONCE, was enough! I was a little yucked out by it! My mom had a splinter in her foot and my step dad was trying to get it out.... He got it out and started to tickle her feet to make her laugh and I got so sick from seeing it I ran out of the room.... I love seeing another woman get tickled but not my mom! I look at tickling in some what of a sexual light and it was VERY wierd for me to have seen that! But on the other hand, if thats what they are into so be it.... I only saw my father tickle my mother once. They've been divorced since 89, so it was a year or two before that. I love my mom dearly, but she always has had the most unattractive looking feet on the face of the planet, even though she wasnt an unattractive looking woman when younger.
One time, We were in their room watching TV. I was on the floor, and my mom was lying with her feet stretched out in bed, and my father was lying at her feet. Suddenly, out of nowhere, he reached out and tickled her bare foot. She quickly flexed her toes, and was like:" Ooh no, I hate you". For some reason, even though I was just into feet, and not as much tickle at that time, I hated seeing it. I know from conversations with her since she knows I've joined up on here, she has told me she has always considered feet ugly, and hated to be tickled, so she could never see the merit of someone being into feet or tickling. The incident watching her being tickled didnt like scar me or anything, but I still didnt like it.
To me, I'd love if I saw a friend's sister being tickled, or another attractive looking woman. One time, about six or seven years ago, I was swimming in my best friend's sister's pool, when suddenly she was pinned up against the side, and her husband launched a tickle attack on her ribs. She isnt overly ticklish, but that time, he appeared to get her good. She doubled over, clutched her midsection, and let out a loud laugh. That was a good looking tickle, because it was on a younger woman, and unplanned. I enjoyed seeing it.
But the tickle of my mom? Bleech! Luckily, I didnt see that more than once.

My parents often hugged and kissed in front of us kids. As Uni said, this could be a matter of cultural differences, or it could a matter of families taking different approaches to life. I do wonder, however, exactly how Uni thinks he got here. 🙂 If his point is that while he knows full well how he came to be, but he doesn't want to see even the suggestion of evidence between his parents-- well, I'd say that's being a touch hard on mum and dad.

I have never seen my Mom get tickled but if I did, it wouldn't be a big deal unless she was naked, in her underwear or something like that. It may be me, but I don't see what the big deal is seeing your Mother get tickled.

My dad and mom had playful ticklefights all the time when I was growing up, and I never gave it a second thought. In fact, sis and I always thought it was kinda cute....dad would come in from work, go into his and mom's bedroom.....mom would follow, then within moments we'd hear mom squeal "No Bill...No!"!....followed by her hysterical laughter (punctuated occasionally by dad's laughter when mom got him around the waist). Sometimes he'd grab mom's bare feet as she lay on the sofa and tickle them.....she protested but actually seemed to enjoy it.

Here in the southeast, such tickling wasn't unusual behavior between mom's and dad's; my best friend's parents tickled each other occasionally....so did our neighbor's (her dad tickled her mom's feet every chance he got). I've always believed being exposed to so much tickling (and southern barefoot women) at an early age is a major reason for my female foot and tickling fetishes.

Of course, it's different in every family....and in different areas of America. While mom and dad tickled each other like kids on the playground, I never saw either of them nude....mom would have been mortified to be seen by anyone in the nude, even inside our home; it was considered vulgar behavior by my parents. To my knowledge, mom always slept in her nightgown and dad in his pj's....neither ever slept in the nude. If I'd ever seen mom or dad nude, it would have mortified me (as would have seen them "getting it on" 😱 😱

I find it odd that we are mortified by the activity that caused us to exist. It's rather ironic.

I wonder if that repulsion is a genetically based .......I mean it would be much much worse if you found the prospect of your parents love making attractive and perhaps wanted to try it with your mom ....Aahhh even writing that gives me the heebee jeebees. The resulting kids would be tragic. I believe the repulsion has evolved as some sort of genetic protection.

Many of us associate tickling with sex so extending my theory one might be repulsed by your dad tickling your mom. I suspect the repulsion may have to do with how strongly you differentiate between sexual and playful (non sexual) tickling as well.

My Mom used to tickle my Dad's feet with her nails and he would laugh so hard he'd cry...he was a larger man and he couldn't rally struggle, he'd just laugh adn beg her to stop. MY aunt and uncle used to tickle him until he peed as kids, so I guess they had told her this when they were dating. At times he liked it because he cwould sometimes put his feet in her lap, knowing she was going to tickle him....it never creeped me out, but it made me very sheepish and teased! I couldn't stand to see him get tickled!

I do think of tickling as erotic and thats why the thought of my parents doing that creeps me... To me, it is like "seeing my mom get f'ed in the ass"! And "heebee jeebees" is the perfect way to describe the feeling!
I know i wouldnt be here if my mom didnt "do it" and stuff, but in my house growing up we didnt talk about sex and we never watched movies that had sex in them with my parents... the word sex was never even said infront of my parents... I guess its all in how open your family is and stuff! I guess if my family would have been more open about the topic of sex or at least comfortable with even the word sex it might not bother me to see my mom get tickled.... hmmm....
