I also think the anime style works really well in this pic. I totally respect the fact that you are looking to work more in your other style right now. But just realize that to be able to work in both is a gift.

Oh I didn't color the whole thing.. I just did that sample section to illustrate my method in case you wanted to try it for yourself. I can do the whole Misty pic if you really want me to but I think it should stay as it is since you put forth the effort to do the coloring this time around. I mean only to share my tricks and tips with you, a fine artist. I don't want to make it seem like your work is in any way unfinished or in need of correction. Play with Photoshop more and more. I started way back when it was in version 3 so I've been using it for years, but I learned just by playing with it. Use some tools you have not tried before and see what results...it's fun and educational to experiment!

Don't worry Dallas, no need to color it again. Some pople seem to actually like it the way it is LOL 😀

I guess learning to color is similar to learning how to draw, you observe, assimilate, practice and learn... sounds easier than it actually is though...

Eventually I'll get to practicing a lot on coloring, right now a bit more concerned with learning how to ink properly.

You have no idea how much it means to get this great compliments from such an awesome artist :redface: It really makes me feel happy to hear that there's improvement in my art, you know I've been getting some practice lately... I've also been trying really hard to make my artwork look better, mostly thanks to a good friend who's always encouraging me to challenge myself, had some great advice from him 😉 ... thanks B...

Yes, I know I'm lucky to be able to do both, still, you know an artist always wants more, n'est ce-pas?

Thank you very much! I don't know if I have a gift, but anime does come a little natural to me 😛 , maybe it's because I watch plenty of it 😀 I love Mew! So it was a must for me to get him right, I couldn't have it any other way, thanks for the compliment on him
