I'd always heard on this site that Mia Sara's feet were tickled in Ferris Buellers Day off, where she's laughing uncontrollably in the cab while Ferris and Cameron were hiding on the car floor. But you hear and see a lot of things online that aren't always true.

Well this is confirmation that in fact, Mia's lovely tootsies were being tickled by both Matthew Broderick and Alan Ruck during that scene;

It's a long list of method acting employed by directors and actors/actresses themselves to get the desired effect from the performers. It's listed alphabetically by movie title. Here's the actual quote;

"In Ferris Bueller's Day Off there is a scene where Ferris tickles Sloan (played by Mia Sara). Her laughter is real, because Matthew Broderick and Alan Ruck actually did take off her shoe and tickle her foot."

I always thought Mia had one of the best ticklish reactions I'd ever heard, and the legend is true!

I would believe this because if you watch her reactions,it seems pretty genuine. But that's just my 2 cents worth.

I've heard that story before. It's supposedly something she said, but I've never seen the actual source.

I have watched the movie in DVD with Director's commentary and he confirms Matthew Broderick really tickled her.

But didn't he tickle her knees/legs and not her foot? That's what it kinda looks like, plus she was wearing those high boots, but you never know.

When she's laughing you only see her face. You don't know where she's being tickled or even if she's wearing shoes.

normally I'm pretty skeptical of all this stuff, but I choose to believe it. It seems legit.
