I have an unwanted roommate.
Several years ago, in the winter, I had problems with mice in my apartment. They were mostly in the living room/dining room area of my apartment. I used conventional mouse traps to kill them, and haven't had a problem since, until now.
Tonight, my "little furry friends" returned with a vengenance, and this one is too close for comfort, in my room! I was just sitting at the computer, doing one of my favorite nightly tasks, debating with AJC writer Mark Bradley, when suddenly, a little ugly looking grey thing peered from behind my bed. I got so startled, I said something like "Oh My God", and the damn thing crawled back behind my bed.
Let me be clear: I'm not afraid of the suckers. I've set traps, and disposed of many dead mice, in the years I'm living here. It's just.. unappetizing, to know that one is in my room!
I won't be going out again until Friday. I'll have to get traps, and set them. Hopefully, the traps will put them into the little mouse graveyard in the sky.
ICK!
