As much as I am a fan of the OG MMPR.. I'd just like to point out a slight error in your team numbers, Sandy..

Despite the fact that after Season One, Tommy regains new powers thanks to Zordon & Alpha, thus making him the "White Power Ranger" and still a league of six..

There ARE other teams in the MMPR Universe..

The end of Season 3 spawned "The Alien Rangers" with the likes of Delphine.. The White Aquitian Ranger
Aurico.. The Red Aquitian Ranger
Cestro.. The Blue Aquitian Ranger
Tideus.. The Yellow Aquitian Ranger, and,
Corcus..The Black Aquitian Ranger. Succeeded by a brand new cast. So that's 5 new "nerds" there.

Then, we could go into "Zeo". Return of 5 cast members. 2 New additions.

Toto: 7 "Nerds".

MMPR Turbo: 6 more.
MMPR Space: 1 more.
MMPR Lost Galaxy: 6 more.
MMPR Lightspeed Rescue: 6 more.
MMPR Wild Force: 6.
MMPR Ninja Storm: 6.
MMPR Dino Thunder: 4.
MMPR SPD: 5. (Not counting: Shadow, A-squad B, G, Y, P, R1, Omega, Nova & Kat)
MMPR Mystic Force: 7.
MMPR Op Overdrive: 6.
Jungle Fury: 5.
RPM: 7.
Samurai: 6.

So.. it seems your Original Nerds should be holding Try Outs as it seems you'll need a grand total of 78 to acquire the whole MMPR Universe. :shock:

But then again.. what do I know? I'm a "Derp meme" fan. 😀

You know, this line got me thinking that I am glad I used the Power Rangers as an example, because had I used the Avengers....well, they have more than 78 members over the years!

I just don't know why you went w/MMPR. Although Voltron was clearly an inspiration, I believe. (For the MMPR Universe -- not you. 🙂)

Soda and I do yell "Avengers Assemble" at random times to one another. Nothing new there.

I just chose the MMPR on a whim, no real intent was behind it, but, I admit I did choose the Green Ranger for me because its my favorite color. Also, Voltron has been an inspiration to both the Power Rangers AND the Nerds! :wow: (who would've guessed??)

I got to see Stan "The Man" Lee last October. That was awesome! Most of his stories are indeed classics, and rightfully so. However, for me, John Byrne was always my favorite comics creator. His long run on the Fantastic Four was all kinds of awesome! Also, who could forget JB's work on the Uncanny X-Men? Certainly, no one with a soul!

Um....you DO realize that the "future" is all set in an alternate reality that has NO bearing on the mainstream Marvel Universe? Peter Parker is alive and well in mainstream continuity.
