Yes it's very nice to have a indulgent partner, it sure beats a handshake. I can't imagine how hard it could be being married to a nontickler. Yup there are a vast array of us, most are hidden in plain sight. That's why I'm glad I found a place with fairly like minded people. It's good to know you're not alone.

Did you end up meeting her on here? It would be pretty cool if you did. Though I can't imagine anything more worthy of congratulations than actually communicating how you felt about it and having a partner who ISN'T into the same thing help you along with it anyway. THAT would be a very unselfish person to be with. A great mix for marriage I'd say.

Nope PurrBast, She went to high school with me. She just happens to be very open to new things. I'm just a lucky guy. Been together 11 years now. Looking forward to the next several decades.

Well, I currently live in Ann Arbor, but I'll probably be moving to the Upper Peninsula for a while when I'm done with grad school. I get the feeling there will be a lot less of us up there, even though I happen to feel that the even colder whether of Northern Michigan should encourage people to stay inside and indulge in a little tickling. 😉

It sounds as if you should prepare yourself for some culture shock! Though I'm sure the cost of living between the two is quite a bit as well.
