I think I could but I know that I don't want to do so.
I have a self-imposed limit of 200--if I make 200 posts, then I log out and go away until the next morning. Hasn't happened in months.

AmishTickler once made 600 posts in one day.
There was a member who set out to prove you can make 1,000 posts in a day and she did it. She also left the TMF after making exactly 10,000 posts. I don't remember her screen name.
