Just kidding~ I've already mentioned Fauda on this thread. During her pregnancy, my wife and I had a blast watching Ozark. It checks all my personal boxes: Middle American setting/culture, wonderfully written characters, crime genre... Really, we enjoyed ourselves a lot. In a similar vein to Oz, there is also Deadwood, if like me you love the Old West. I have yet to watch Boardwalk Empire, but I hear it is pretty good. If you haven't tried Rome, I also suggest you drop everything and watch it, it is really amazing.
