My Wedding

Dear fellow TTers,

After 5 years together, my ler and I are tying the proverbial knot this sunday, the 21st...

And, although it's not legally recognized, and many here may have issue with my nuptuals, we have both received such a gracious outpouring of support from this community...without having this place as a sounding board, and advice column, and without the many friends we have on here, this weekend most likely would not have come to fruition.

So, on behalf of my bride to be, thank you so much, everyone here, for the love.

I might not be around much for the next few days, but know that, when I return, I'll be officially wed to the woman I love!!! *explodes with excitement*

I believe gay marriage is legal in CA. And all states must honor other states' legal documents. So if instead of Vegas you go to CA to get a legal marriage license, you can drive back home and stick it to the conservative pricks by screwing w/ their system ^^.

That's as far as I've been informed, however ^^;; and is not foolproof knowledge. Down the grapevine, as they say.

We are going to CA in October to obtain legal documentation, just to have it should a situation arise...unfortunately, because same-gender marriage is not federally mandated, each state gets to decide whether or not to recognize the marriage...PA does not recognize said documentation...yet.


We shall see!!!
