Thank you everyone for the love...

Yesterday was the most beautiful day of my life...my wife was radiant...the day was perfect...everything just seemed to fit together beautifully...the ceremony was amazing, the party afterwards went on through the wee hours of the night...it was glorious, being surrounded by family and friends as we expressed our love/desire to spend the rest of our lives together...

I don't have any pics, just the flashbacks in my head...but it was a stunning day, and I couldn't have asked for anything more...

And Ky...I don't have to prove anything to anyone darlin'...my wedding was not a political or religious statement...it was two people who love one another declaring in front of the people who care about them that they want to spend the rest of their lives together...and nothing more. Just like any other couple. The only person who I have to prove anything to is my wife...and I plan on doing that every day until I run out of days...😉

But, if that's the proof you need, then I'll just keep on loving my wife! 😉 😀

I look up to the folks who have gone before me, and have been married for many years and still feel that their spouse is their best friend...that's the goal here!

I always ask my patients who have been married for a long while what the secret is...one gentleman, who is in his late 90's (wife in the mid 90's), and has been married to the same woman for 72 years told me that the secret is that it isn't always easy, but you have to take it as it comes, together...and just keep loving...

It sounded like solid advice...72 years and going strong...I can only hope to live long enough to have that much time with my wife...:floatin::inlove:😍

Correct. After 20 years with MDJ, I learned real quickly why it's for "better or for worse" in the vows. We decided before the wedding that divorce was (and still is) not an option. Homicide has been considered at times....LOL

If they can't be your friend, you'll fail as a spouse. Seen it happen too many times.

I believe gay marriage is legal in CA. And all states must honor other states' legal documents. So if instead of Vegas you go to CA to get a legal marriage license, you can drive back home and stick it to the conservative pricks by screwing w/ their system ^^.

That's as far as I've been informed, however ^^;; and is not foolproof knowledge. Down the grapevine, as they say.

i hear Florida's taking that vote in November and damn, i hope it passes. it'd be awesome if gay marriage we're legalized here. hell, it'd help with our economy, if nothing else.

Thanks everyone...my wife has been my best friend for 5 years now...and she'll always be my best friend...for better or for worse...

Here's hoping all of the proposed bans are struck down in November so that more committed couples can enjoy legally recognized marriage...

And, on a much lighter note...my wife had her nails done for the wedding...the fake ones that look real...wow...do those feel HEAVENLY...*explodes*
