It depends on the wheres and under what conditions. There are certain areas on me which are most intensely ticklish when it's nails to skin. There are other areas where it feels like about 80% scratch, 20% tickle. Now conversely, if these same areas have a thin fabric, like say a t-shirt between skin and nails...*shudder*.
 
Generally speaking, I think that I respond much better to a 'ler with no nails (since I'm not really light touch ticklish.) In most cases nails end up hurting. The only exception to this rule is (like terorizer said) when nails are used over a light fabric like nylon or satin. YIKES! Then they can be devestating. :wow:

Doesn;t matter personally in how I respond

I am a big fan of fingernail tickling. I have been tickled by women with short nails, like Ticklemeee has mentioned and by women with medium length nails, as Jpie describes herself, and even by a few women with rather long nails.

I have to agree with the majority here. While EXTREMELY erotic, long nail tickling is much less tickling than what I like to call "skin sex". For me, being tickled with long nails is always an extremely sexual experience.

On the flip side, the short nails, or the absense of nails (Eeew, TM! 😀) generally doesn't tickle me. Unless it's on my feet, (where anything, from fingers to nails to drinking straws to ball-point pens makes me die a thousand deaths) no-nail tickling is little more than a giggle-inducing massage.

It is Jpie that I want to tickle me! The medium-length, 1/2 inch, rounded, thin nails are what drive me into hysterics!

I like your expression "skin sex" I think you get it. I truly believe there is such a thing. Nail tickling can indeed be like making love to the whole skin and something that I can relate to. Now I live in CT and I had to look up East Grumblebug CT as I had never heard of that town!!! I thought you were pulling my chains on that one!! LOL. I am not as aware of the towns on that end of CT as I am down here in Southwestern CT.

I love a tickler with nails, especially on the soles of my feet. Then again a finger with short nails can send me mad too! I guess I'm just ticklish with anything!

Having been tickled last night by two gals, one with slightly longer nails than the other, I found that both do have their place and have produced different intense reactions on all parts of the ticklish body. So long as too much pressure is not applied with the nails, they both are wild!

The nails were effective everywhere, especially the pits and the feet.
Less effective on the ribs and sides since more pressure to produce the desired reacdtion is needed there on me so digging in with nails was NOT effective at all there.

I do apologise if I have offended your sensibilities.I'll try to take a leaf out of your book and maybe do a little better in future!
 
Some tickling with the nails is okay but it has to be light or it hurts more than it tickles. I am very ticklish almost all over and fingers generally tickle me the most. Nails and stiff brushes are likely to hurt me but I think they may be more effective in tickling people who are less ticklish than I am.
 
either way you get a good respinse from me but nails just make worst on certain parts of my body
