Ah, that's who the girl was. I was really struggling to recognize her.

You know, I can understand obsessions. Hell, I obsess alot myself. So I can relate to Naruto and Sakura at least in that respect. Granted Naruto is a guy obsessed with a woman who has done nothing over the course of an entire anime show but smash his face in on a consistent basis and Sakura has proven that she's COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY obsessed with a guy who thinks she's worse than the end result of his daily bowel movement and is also willing to use the love of the only one who actually loves her without question (aka Naruto) to get what she wants.

Okay, yeah, these kids are obsessed idiots, I'll admit that. Naruto should get down with Hinata like Australia is down under and Sakura...well...Sakura should just crawl into a sewer and stay there...but the POINT of this whole argument is I can definitely understand obsessions...to a degree at least. However, if your going to pair Naruto with TENTEN of all the god forsaken idiots in the Not So Hidden Leaf Village...then your on a level of fandom obsession that goes beyond even MY UNDERSTANDING! :blink

I support a lot of pairing simply because i think they are cute. Not that i think they will ever happen. Though i am quite fond of Tenten and grateful to the filler for giving her so much screen time.

Fair enough. I agree with what you did say about Naruto and Sakura, though (and characters like pre-timeskip Sakura really, really, really annoy me). But I think Naruto's obsession with Sasuke takes the cake. *Shudders*

re: hellfire, I hear that Hinata gets screentime in the anime she doesn't get in the manga (probably filler but still) and I figure it's for one of two reasons:

1. Anime staff are fans of Hinata, or
2. Anime staff are fans of Nana Mizuki.

Both equally awesome.
