Well, I'm fried, buzzed, thrashed and trashed. Most of the exhaustion is simply that my adrenaline level has been up for so long. NEST for me is usually not about playing but running around and making sure everyone is having a good time.
I know that for many of you who weren't there it may be boring to hear about all the fun that people had and the inside stories. But I really want more and more people to come out each time and experience this amazing event. Let me paint a little picture for you so you'll understand what goes on.
The night before we had a 'cocktail hour' which was really just a meet and greet with soft drinks and snacks. We met some of our old friends and some faces we finally got to see after reading their posts for so long. I was pleased to see faces and hear names that I had never heard before. That meant the word was getting out to further reaches of people.
The day of the NEST, most gathered in the reception/bar area. We had a video playing (Frenchtickling.com for the first couple of hours) and the food table was there to eat and the bar was there to drink. As you ventured deeper, there was a play area with 4 huge bondage devices, including the legendary spiderweb made from chain and the St. Andrew's Cross. There was another large tv playing videos in that room so the laughter was echoing all over the first floor.
Upstairs were many tiny little rooms that each had scatterings of tickling magazines and old memorabilia. A few bondage devices were added pieces of furniture in a few of these rooms, some of which had moody candles burning.
There was a main hall with a mirrored ball spinning and soft couches. On a stage stood a pair of stocks brought by Nightfall and Shem the Penman. There, amazing demos were presented by the two as well as a few more brave souls (soles?). It was a delight to see the writhing and the screaming and the hysterical laughter. And at the conclusion of out last demo, the pretty and very ticklish lady (not sure whether I should mention names so I will leave that blank for now) who demo'd for the first time in her life, took a breath and said, "Thank you, Everyone. That was great. Thank you!"
All through the day I would walk from room to room and see various tickling from bound women. The theme, I believe, was gratitude. We were all so grateful to be able to play so openly in such a perfectly accepted environment. Most of the guests simply walked around and observed or chilled out on a couch and talked, or watched others. There was something for everyone since not everyone performs.
But, hey, imagine coming to a party and being able to obverve all this, not just a quick "mainstream" glimpse.
My good buddy, Mr Hyde, co-creator of NEST was sadly missed since he was unable to make it, but I am sure that he would be proud to see how far this all went, in the 6 short years of NEST's existence. From 8 insane guys talking shop to a Convention of men and women, I am astounded.
So PLEASE consider coming to the next. We always try and outdue ourselves. I can't imagine what the next one will bring.
Jan, Dan, Lee,Bella,Andy,Mike, Pat, Ann & Drew, Venray & Mrs. Venray,Spenser & Melissa - I am so afraid to leave someone out - .... You and everyone were instrumental in the success of this event. NEST is all of us, not just the hosts. A special thanks goes to Jan who is a guardian Angel and gives so much of herself in these events.
Well, it is now nearly 8:30 AM. I have things to do. People will be hopping on planes all day today and I wil return to my regular channel. Sad.
Luckily, TMF is like a "cyber NEST" every day. And that works for me.
Peace,
Max
