Nest Is Happening!

Hey everyone...

This year was my first NEST and I had a wonderful time, especially meeting (and playing with) lots of people I had not met before. I want to thank everyone at NEST for being so friendly and welcoming and I especially want to thank Jan and Max for being such gracious hosts...event planning is not easy and NEST really was pulled off with considerable aplomb.
I am rather exhausted at present so I think I'll be off to bed--here's to many more NESTs 🙂

I will post some more later, but the NEST of 2005 was AWESOME! I had a great time being with you all again. The depression kicked in as soon as I pulled into the driveway. The NEST is just a great time with really good people!

I had a great time at NEST! It was an awesome mix of chatting with old friends, meeting folks like MTP Jeff for the first time, watching the tickle sessions, and participating in them. I had some awesome ticklers making me laugh and squirm. Thanks to them, I'm still wearing an ear-to-ear grin. 🙂

Some scenes I'll remember fondly...

Kitten: (through gales of laughter) "I'm wearing a skirt! I don't HAVE any freakin pockets!!"

Another scene: Ray sitting in a chair. Drew and Kwil holding Ray's arms up while several women gang tickled him.

Shygirl wreaking havoc on Ed. I've never heard such tortured cries in my life! He was tied to the same X-shaped cross from three years ago at the Kama Sutra! TTD had to hold it steady, otherwise it kept creeping across the room as Shy put Ed through some serious changes!

Kitten's mummification and subsequent tickling. Nuff said!

Okay everyone....please bare with me as I write. My sister, who has been suffering with cancer has passed away today, writing about Nest will take my mind away for a while.
This was my third Nest, every year gets better and better not just because of the passion but because of the people, you are family to me.
The time we've all spent together over the weekend has been great laughs, lots of love and a bunch of tickles! I'm not going to go into this long post mentioning names of those who keep me coming back every year, you all know who you are....I love you!
I even got to tickle some 70 year old man at the bar, you just had to be there to see this one. We let him off easy, in fear of him having a heart attack....
Jan....that's the horn, better get that!
Hey, everyone, watch out for those lightening bolts!
I thought this was the bible study?
Just for the record Jeff, you adorable man you, so glad I got to meet ya, it wasn't my idea to request that song on my foot, and I'll have you all know, the torture I went through, the tickling pain...wheew!
To one person in particular....you'll know who you are, I didn't forget you! Next year you'll get tied up first Thanks for the massages!

Back from NEST – trying to fight off those damned post-NEST Blues… I think I’ll just rattle off some random thoughts…

- One highlight among many – Max orchestrating a multi-round tickle fight between Kitten and IrishGirl5
- EdV – my hat is seriously off to you – you have the most stamina I have ever seen
- IrishGirl was just so cute and entertaining – when she was really getting tickled (and her hands were free), she starts clapping
- BTW, can someone tell me where Yaqi lives?
- All the foot massages…to all the ladies whose soles I had the pleasure to pleasure, thank you very much
- Killer: “Nope, nope, no-ho, nope, nope, nope … can’t make me do it”
- Tickling Kitten’s foot under the table at breakfast in the diner, while the nun at the nearby table of bible conventioneers condemned me to Hell with her eyes
- Necia – a couple of very hot scenes – in the stocks, and back in Jan & Dan’s room – thank you, and thanks Charlie
- Just when I thought NEST was over (in the wee small hours of Sunday night / Monday morning), and I was exhausted and ready to go to bed, getting jumped by Kitten and Jan (I was just lucky that Lee was too tired to lend a hand, so to speak) – actually, all told, I got off easy this year, maybe cause EdV was taking all the heat
- George – I sure hope you do not have roaming charges
- Similarly, Danimal sitting on his cell phone for hours late at night, not saying a thing – I think he was listening to Ayla while she slept
- All the jokes… you got some good ones, Pat
- Any clips?
- Spelunking at Max’s Club – with his waitress and some girls there for a bachelorette party
- Writing a song request on Trixie’s bare sole, and Trixie showing her request to Max on stage at his piano
- Trixie and Lee tickling an old insurance salesman in a bar (much as I try, I cannot delete this image from the many others in my mind from the weekend)
- TklDuo Drew getting tickled by the waitress at Silk City – I always thought she was one of us

OK – that’s enough for now.

If I started naming names, there are too many, and I am sure I would leave someone out – it was wonderful, as usual, to see my old friends, including some old friends who have not been to a NEST for a while, and it was great meeting a whole bunch of new friends.

Let me start by saying to Bratgirl that Sadira and I send out our deepest and most sincere condolences. We are very sorry for your loss and if you need anything just let us know.

As far as NEST is concern, many thanks go out to the following people, Kitten who we shared many laughs before, during and after NEST on our 11hr treck to and from NEST; special thanks also go out to QB Weaver and Affectionate Dan for being friends to both Sadira and I while we were apart from each other while I was at NEST. Also, thanks to ViperGTS and Irishgirl5...Saturday night will always be remembered from the Chinese restaurant to Walmart and back to hotel room 405. That room will never be the same again 😀 A pleasure and honor to meet TickleChgo, Maj0718, TTD and Shygirl. There are those I don't remember screen names but you're in my thoughts and prayers, and I love you for the great time I had with all of you. Next year will be better because Sadira will be at my side, as I soooo terribly missed her, as Affectionate Dan and QB can attest to. One final thanks to Max Spears...it was an honor and priviledge to meet you and to MTPJeff, how cool it was to hang out and be around you. You are a great and honorable man and I appreciate all your thoughts and advice to me. I will never forget NEST. I met some great people and I look forward to next year...wishing it was tomorrow. This is something Kitten said while we were doing the mummification demo. This is while she's being tickled by four or five people and completely wrapped except for her stomach and feet: "What's the matter, don't any of you know how to tickle???"

And P50 made a joke last night in the chatroom that I think is the perfect term for what everyone feels when they go home after a NEST weekend: Empty NEST syndrome.

Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to everyone that I would have liked to but I was..... uhhhh.... tied up. Thanks to Shygirl, Lee, and all the other ladies who helped me "explore" this weekend. Special thanks to Viper and Irish girl for being the coolest couple ever. Viper ticking my feet as they were propped up on his lap in the Chinese restaurant and throughout all of WalMart. I love it when people stare.

Drew and Ann are the cutest couple ever with their ten hour tickle fight. In fact, I think it might have been longer...

Max... I rule. Yeah, deny it all you want.

I cried for about a good half hour after I left. You guys are so special to me, thanks for all of your wonderfulness and to everyone who put so much effort into making this happen, you have my eternal gratitude.

I had a wonderful time meeting everyone ,remembering memories spending time in Jan;s room before Nest hanging out ,quite a few come to mind

Ticklkitten resting being cuddled and I see her delicious soft soles and I can;t resist in tickling them and kitten makes a remark "such little hands,your dangerous LOL "

Ticklkitten again in jan;s room being tickled by a few others and I begin tickling her again..Kitten has the nerve to say " Laurie,pick on someone your own size!" which she dearly paid for as I let kitten have it then,and she tried to crawl towards the door to get away but NOt a chance,

Also at Nest itself,I am mingling in the group upstairs and I find myself being offered a lap to sit on which I happpily accept,next thing I know I am trapped squirming around on the lap as my ribs,upper body is tickled and I squeal as I hear a conversation in my ear that it;s time to have my sandals removed! hahhahaha OMG!! Thank you guys!,you know who you are

Again at Nest,volunteering to be placed in Stocks,and milagros asks me as I am being secured before the tickling commences,"are you sure your ready for this?!" Absolutely!! 😛 OMG,Thank you to all the ler;s that tickled my soles with anything they could get their hands on!,hehheeh I'll never think of a Pasta Scooper the same way again!
