You asked for input. Here's my two cents worth.

When I first heard about this I was all for it. I felt it was a great idea, and maybe it still will be. I've seen so many one-sided cliques come along that I'm always dubious as to which way it'll go. We all know that sometimes ticklers views of our particular fetish history and whatknot can get pretty skewed and lopsided. I hope it doesn't happen here.

Though I'm sure they have their fans who'll argue, I personally don't agree that Yaqi, Paradise videos, and tickle models are leaders or even creators. I feel they're more copycats than anything. Certainly not the ones that 'made tickling what it is'.

I'm thinking, that's our history? Yaqi made our community? Not a thought I'd like to ponder. I'd leave the fetish I think.

Seriously though, they've hardly been around ten years. With all respect intended, as a female I can't say I even care for their particular work or approach to tickling. I feel they jumped in to make some cash off us all.

Yes those people you interview are dandy and have done things catering to those in the new millenium. But imo they're doing it to sell something, not to further our tickling fetish. They stood on the shoulders of the others long before them. People who paved the way and gave us original material before the internet and at a time when you couldn't just push a button on a computer and pull up what you wanted. Some put themselves out there and turned it into something special, more dignified, and even artful in a way.

Of course I know some of them are gone now, some found "Jesus', some passed away, and some are still here and doing great things. There were artists, writers, movers and shakers.

You have a hot new idea and publication. I hope it grows and I hope your publication will cover our true history and the great ones that made it such.

the hollywood brother is proud that you got a new mag that you are selling but perhaps it might be wise to give us a link to a free issue to try it out. this way the millions and millions of hollywood brother fans can see how great it is and then purchase lifetime subscriptions!

There's already such a link HWB, I'll talk to Dean about reposting it, but it's already around here somewhere.

Danni, thank you for your input, I'll pass your comments along--and thank you. Constructive criticism is what'll make LD a hit! :super_hap

Danni, thank you for the great post and insight. I couldn't agree with you more that this community can be one sided and full of cliques. That is the reason that this magazine was founded, to be an impartial third party news source that is above all the cliques and petty squabling that exists at times in this community.

When I started this publication, I made an effort to contact EVERYONE that I could find who has ever contributed to this community in the past or is contributing now. Quite honestly, very few responded and that is to be expected of a new publication. Until I am around awhile and until I have earned the respect of this community, I realize that many will look upon this publication with suspicion and scorn and neglect to return my emails.

Two of the people who did return my requests for an interview were Yaqi and Renee of Tickling Paradise. The were very gracious and generous with their time and resources. I welcome anyone and EVERYONE to be in this magazine. We remain neutral and report the viewpoint of those we cover. Nothing more, nothing less.

In fact, I would love to interview YOU and get your take on the community. You obviously have some strong feelings as to who and what shaped us and I want to not only hear that, but move heaven and earth to contact and interview those who you deem as worthy. I feel that our readers will benefit from your perspective and many will disagree with YOU as well.

And that is what I am hoping for. All I am trying to do is to provide an open forum for discourse and the exchange of opinions and ideas. The fact that our stories about these two generated such emotion in you to cause you to post, is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. This magazine is open to everyone and will never shy away from a story to avoid controversy in any way.

I am hoping those who read this will take a look at the magazine, subscribe and join the bandwagon of Laughter Digest, a bastian of free speech and non-biased exchange of ideas.

I'm doing a journalist-on-the-field kind of thing as well as writing fiction--I'll gladly entertain any ideas for opinion pieces anyone'd want me to run with! ^___^I won't promise anything, but ideas are more than welcome.
