Oh by the way hon,is there One airport in san diego where i would be flying into,or should I ask for specific one?? Going to be looking at airfare tomorrow to get a jump for roundtrip before the rates go too high for me to afford..

The two airports which actually serve San Diego are San Diego Lindburgh Field and Carlsbad Airport. If you go to www.southwest.com and book with Southwest Airlines, you can get you tickets for as low as $29 - $29 each way from Phoenix. Southwest will only fly into San Diego International Airport (Lindburgh Field - SAN) and not into Carlsbad airport.

Total drive time from the airport to where you will be staying should be about 15 - 20 minutes (depending on what time you land). Just fly Southwest to San Diego and you will definately arrive at the right airport.
