True. I momentairly forgot about the electoral college however it sort of proves my point. It doesen't matter who we vote for. It's like a formality almost. It is also a direct contradition of the constitution and what this country is supposed to stand for.
It's like a very very bad and poorly produced/written "Reality" show.
Maybe we should hire professional actors. No wait, we already had one.

LOL, yeah. It's a holdout from the days when not enough people voted, and they needed SOME way to get people in office. But, in today's world, you are absolutely correct, it is useless and defeats the purpose of the constition and all the "Government for the people, by the people." It's a darned shame, especially remembering the last election. Now, I don't personally like any politician, but Gore won the popular vote, so it seems only right he should have been president. But, not that it matters. It's not like we have any say.😀

He said nothing about Freedom of choice. If a panic is caused because the normal public is a bunch of IDIOTS, then the public will blame the government for giving a warning. In fact, most studies of evacuation plans show more people will die during an evacuation of an area than if the people were just told to stay put.

Mainly because it is NOT their money(millions of dollars) they are spending. It's OURS, and donations from corporate puppet pukes who can afford to blow smoke up the publics collective ass.

The only voices that help and are listened to are the ones' that have a fist full of $$$$ placing in the pockets of the candadate. Even then, sometimes, it's not enough unless you know the right candadate.

Don't believe what "They" want you to believe. More times than not, it is the opposite.
Trust me on this one. Things are NOT what they seem on the surface.

Read all about it...

I read intelligent articulate well-reasoned articles, columns, and editorials from a VARIETY of sources.

Then I think about what makes sense & seems true based on all the information.

If I encounter an arrogant ranting one-note writer who vehemently denies any need to question authority, I simply disregard him.

Yeah, possibly. They would have taken proper precautions against overexposure, or used some sort of protection, like those Louis Vitton SARS fashion masks. You don't just have to sit there and breathe bad air of you know it's bad.
