NFL's fans causing problems

guitman69

I have heard that show a time or two when in orlando. It is a nice change from politics, but quite frankly I don't like it because everyone is always talking over each other and it gives me a headache much like howard stern....and if I am remembering right, wasn't the girl on that show (monsters of the midday) the one who tickled rena mero's feet?

NFL and fantasy football

to get this back on track... it seems we have a lot of football fans here, and I just had a great Idea to set up a fantasy league for TMF'ers who are interested. It would beat the hell out of joining a random league like I did this year (it is more fun to compete against people you know). I know this would be next year, but if anyone would be interested, just say so.... it is easy, you just do it through CBS.sportsline, or CNNSI.com very little work, lots of fun. I'd be happy to do it because I have done it the last few years already.

any takers?

I hadn't heard about that, but I know Savannah (the only woman on the show) was friends with Rena Mero and was even at her Playboy shoot.

I'll admit though that they are hard to listen too until you start to recognize everyones voices.

The present NFL follies are pretty mild compared with some of the antics at NHL games years ago. Montreal fans were notorious for throwing their galoshes onto the ice to protest bad play and bad officiating. Others elsewhere threw coins or hairpins, which can cause nasty falls and in one case caused the officials to declare the home team forfeit. They were lucky to get out of the arena alive.

Still, red's right. The Brits have turned football hooliganism into a fine art, and are the master practitioners.

Official point of view coming, like it or not:

Red Indian's initial post was not anti-American. The events of September 11 did not leave this country devastated to the point that its citizens can't take a joke.

I am offended by attempts to use the terms Democrat and liberal as insults, Krokus. Not only are these words as legitimate as Republican and conservative, but if you did mean to insult with them, then you are guilty of the same behavior you accuse red of.

But as Strelnikov notes, red's right.

Blimey! it must be christmas!....

folks are agreeing with me! my thankls to strel and EQ for catching what I was throwing.Association Football and violence have gone hand in hand for 40 odd years now, but things are much better these days as the game moves up market, but the violence (organised with military precision) is ingrained still in the game. Belive me when i say you are better off nipping your troubles in the bud now before it takes hold.
