well just assume TickleTheater.com would also work as the server hosting the tracker. Upload functionality could be implemented with the forums/site, too. And before actually putting them onto the tracker, TT and the others have to review the Torrent files. This would prevent duplicate uploads/shares and also spreading copyrighted material. To take it even further: an archive could be provided listing all the torrented clips available (or not, if there's no seed then no leech).

Hmm that might actually work. If it would be possible to set up the tracker on the forum, i would be happy to share a part of my collection this way.

If a 'local' solution could be implemented, then that would probably be the best way. (Someone would still have to know the tech side). I would hope however that it would not impose the requirements of some Bittorent Communities, and although maintaining a fair ballance between giving and receiving it will allow for flexibility, especially the time intervals for being active. Many people may not want or be able to let their computers run all day.

the problem with bittorents are that older clips wont get any seeds, while newer ones get all of them. ive always thought the emule/edonkey servers were better for long periods of time because they allow for passive sharing.
