How do you feel about opening day of baseball?
 
"Time begins on Opening Day," is one of my favorite baseball books. (Written by Thomas Boswell.)
I am not so optimistic this year. 🙁

Are you optimistic about the Yankees?
 
Yes, somewhat. 1-0 haha.
How many games will you attend this year majors/minors in baseball?
 
I will attend zero MLB games. I can't stand the rule changes.

I will attend about 60 minor league games. I have season tickets, so tickets to all 66 home games of the Cyclones, but it is inevitable that circumstances will cause me to miss a few.

When was the last time (if ever) that you attended an NFL game?
 
About 10 years ago (but I'd like to go again).
What's your first ever sports memory?
 
Watching Duke Snider hit a home run on TV during the 1955 MLB season.

What is your saddest sports memory?
 
Yankees blowing the 3-0 ALCS lead to the Red Sox.
What's your happiest moment this year so far?
 
My happiest baseball moment so far this year is Trace Thompson hitting a 2-out grand slam in the bottom of the first inning last night in Dodger Stadium. He would go on to hit two more home runs for a total of 8 RBI in the 10-1 victory. :bouncybou
My happiest personal moment is too personal to post.

Have you ever met a Red Sox that you liked (before the subject of baseball arose)?
 
No not really lol.
Do you think fans who burn stuff down after their team wins/loses a title should be banned for life from sports arenas?
 
Yes, but also a conviction for arson is also in order.

What did you do to celebrate the Yankees winning the World Series in 2009?
 
I ordered a world champion shirt lol.
What's your favorite sports item you own?
 
a Sandy Koufax rookie Topps baseball card (1955 Topps card #123)

How many baseball cards did you have as a child?
 
Thousands (mostly Topps).
How many comic books have you bought in your life?
 
Hundreds of comic books, mostly DC brand.
They were stored in the basement. When I was in college, my mother threw them all away.

What is your favorite breakfast?
 
waffle & bacon
What kind of fruit is your favorite?
 
Only at work (and a slight amount) I put ice in my coffee at home every single day throughout the year and dunkin I order iced only.
What's one job you had that you loved?
 
I loved that part of my full-time job that involved teaching mathematics.

What was your worst summer job?
 
Digging a ditch.
What's one thing you regret not doing?
 
I didn't invest in Microsoft in 1978 (and keep the investment until about 1999).

Is there some event that you missed that you regret not attending?
 
My high school graduation (long story but I got my degree lol).
What's one thing you liked about high school?
 
all of the math classes

What did you dislike the most when you were in high school?
 
Peer Pressure.
What girl did you have a crush on high school?
