The first thing that I wished for that came true was that the Dodgers win the 1955 World Series.
The most important thing that I wished for that came true was that I get tenure at Fordham University.

Not being told my dad died from cancer but I was a kid so they tried to sugar coat it (not that you can sugar coat a death).

As long as I'm happy at this job I'd stay...if things changed/got worse I'd walk out.
