Tuesdays are depressing to me, but I really can't explain why.

What is your favorite book?
 
Michael Jordan "The Life".
Who's the greatest baseball player in your lifetime?
 
1996 the Yankees first world championship in my lifetime (they won in 1978 but I was 0 years old so I don't count that).
What's one color hair you've never wanted to have?
 
Blue. (A girlfriend tried to convince me to dye my hair blue during the punk phase in the early 1980's. I broke up with her shortly thereafter.)

What height and weight do you wish you were?
 
192 pounds in June 2013. Much too much at 5'8" tall. That is when I decided to change my dietary habits. I was under 140 by the summer of 2015, slightly too skinny. 141 as of this morning.

What is the skinniest you've ever been as an adult?
 
150lbs
What's one thing you love the most about baseball?
 
The beautiful symmetry of the game.

How old were you when you began to follow major league sports?
 
5 years old (baseball) ironically my favorite player was Lenny Dykstra when he was on the Mets.
What is your 2nd favorite baseball team?
 
Minor League: Brooklyn Cyclones
MLB: Cleveland Guardians (Indians to me) Ironically, the Dodgers are in Cleveland to play against them today through Thursday.

What was the worst illness you had as a child?
 
Chicken Pox (I have a scar from it).
What age did you feel your healthiest?
 
age 19

What is the furthest south you have ever traveled? (For me it was Caracas, Venezuela.)
 
Texas.
What's the hottest weather you've ever experienced?
 
115°F in Las Vegas in August. "But it's dry heat," they told us as we melted down into a puddle of sweat.

What is the coldest weather you have ever experienced? (For me, -17°F in Chicago in 1977.)
 
NY temperature -15, wind chill -35 (it hurt).
What's the coldest you like the temperature to be?
 
4th of July (I love that week).
What's your favorite thing about winter?
 
That it ends shortly after my birthday. 😛

How do you keep hydrated during the summer?
 
A/C & Drinking cold drinks
What's your favorite summer time drink?
 
ice cold Diet Pepsi

What are the Jets prospects for the 2023/24 season?
 
Realistic? To make the playoffs for the first time in 13 seasons (the longest non-playoff streak in sports currently).
If you could meet one current athlete who would you choose that to be?
