I attended a minor league hockey game while visiting a friend (who is a big hockey fan) in Erie, PA. The home team, the Erie Otters, won in overtime, beating the London (Ontario) Knights. That was at least 15 years ago.

When was the last time you attended a professional basketball game?
 
I've never attended one (now the tickets are at least $400 to sit in the upper deck).
Would you rather watch basketball or hockey?
 
I would rather watch basketball (on TV, not for $400).

Do you like ice skating?
 
I like watching it not doing it.

Most of them yes.
What was your least favorite activity in gym class?
 
Gymnastics was my least favorite activity because I stank at it. I was especially inept at the uneven parallel bars.

What was you most favorite year of school (from K to 12)?
 
The friends I made in a small school. We were really close.
Would you rather have 1 20-inch snowstorm or 5 4-inch snowstorms this winter?
 
I would rather have one big blizzard of 20 inches. I would stay home for three or four days until it was all nicely plowed or melted.

Did you know that it has been over 650 days since a snowfall of one inch or more in Central Park? Can our good luck last?
 
Yes, I heard that stat for NYC and it is amazing (but I don't think it will continue much longer).
Would you rather have snow on Christmas Day or St. Patrick's Day?
 
I would rather have snow on Christmas Day, because it is traditional in song. St. Patrick's Day snow is too late in the winter to be wanted.

Have you ever had to push your car off the ice? If so, did any passers by help you?
 
No but I have been one who helped someone else push their car off the ice.
What's one thing you hope for the holidays this year for yourself?
 
Having attended two funeral in New Jersey in November, I hope that no more friends or relatives die this month.

How long ago was the last funeral that you attended?
 
Many years ago when my Grandmother died (the 2 things I hate going to are weddings and funerals).
What's one thing you dislike about smokers?
 
I hate the stink of tobacco smoke.

Why do you hate going to weddings?
 
Because I am not really into big gatherings, don't like wearing a suit and I joke that if I'm not going to be there for the divorce I don't care to be there for the wedding.
What's the best thing you know how to cook?
 
I will use that joke about the divorce (and I will claim it is original with me). 😛

The best thing that I know how to cook is pasta with red sauce. It is good because I get the basic sauce out of a jar and just augment it with some protein source (meat or fish). In other words, I don't really cook, I just prepare hot food.

What is your favorite sauce to have on pasta?
 
Sure use it!
I like marinara sauce the most probably.
