Yes, quite exciting so far. Next excitement: Will Ohtani become the first 50-50 player ever?

Why didn't Mantle bother to steal 40 bases (which IMO he could have done) in any of the years when he hit 40+ home runs?
 
Because he had a great lineup around him I think.

Who's one player you think was underrated in baseball history?
 
Maury Wills, who definitely belongs in the Hall of Fame. He will forever be the first player ever to steal 100+ bases in a season. I would credit him with re-introducing the stolen base as an offensive weapon in MLB in the early 1960's. Also, he has better stats than several other shortstops who are in the HOF.

Who is one retired MLB player that you think is grossly overrated and doesn't deserve his big reputation?

Would you say you talk to yourself more or less than the average person does?
 
More. I talk to myself too much.

How often do you actually swim when you go to the beach?
 
Not very often I'm not much of a swimmer.

When's the last time you played checkers or chess?
 
I last played chess about 1989 with a girlfriend who was a chess enthusiast. She won. I don't remember when I last played checkers.

Did you play Monopoly much as a child?
 
Yes and I've played as an adult too.

Would you rather play cards than play chess?
 
Yes I have.

Would you rather eat at McDonald's, Burger King or Wendy's?
 
KFC - It's mostly all grease.

When's the last time you ate fried chicken?
 
My grams. It was really delicious.

What is one family member you miss?
 
Rollins (my last one). He was the one that really I bonded with the most. He was not "normal" at all and I felt like I had some qualities most similar to him.

Would you rather a pet be too friendly or too protective?
 
I would rather have a pet be too protective.

Have you ever seen a alligator close up?
 
Not too close to where I felt scared no fortunately.

Would you rather eat a spare rib or a pork chop?
 
A spare rib, but I do love them both.

What are your three favorite foods eaten at barbecues?
 
1.) Ribs 2.) Burgers 3.) Corn on the Cob

Out of the 3 things I listed which is your least favorite?
 
Corn on the Cob because some of my front teeth are no longer natural teeth.

How many barbecues do you attend per year?
 
Probably 4-5 BBQ's per year.

When's the last time you flossed?
 
About a month ago before going to the dentist. I generally don't floss. I brush my teeth with a rotary electric tooth brush and then use a Proxabrush to clean between my teeth.

What brand of toothpaste do you use?
 
Aim (I'm actually somewhat picky about it).

What's your favorite type of bread?
