Welcome home, Chris! Sorry to hear about your grandfather. But, I'm happy that the baby is keeping you out of trouble...sorta. I hope you're finding a little time to take care of yourself as well as everyone else. Remember, you won't be able to be there for them if you don't take care of yourself.

I thought it might be easier to just post this message and let everyone know that I'm back and to apologize for dropping off the face of the earth after the NH gathering.

"What happened?"

My grandfather's health took a turn for the worse during NH and since coming home, I've been helping to take care of him before and after work. That along with having a 9 month old (I have new pictures, btw!!!) make it tough to find time to keeop in touch.

That;s no excuse however...so from the bottom of my heart, my apologies for disappearing on all of you. You're my family and it's not fair to any of you.

I was supposed to find out in August and now my place of work isn't making that decision until November. So we'll see.......

I've missed all of you terribly and hope everyone is doing well.

You need not apologize. Family comes first. Your little baby and your grandfather are MUCH more important than the TMF. Take care of your family. We aren't going anywhere. Hope things get better for you. Need to talk, Sadira and I are always there for you.
