So mamaseeta's having a baby boy!

Looks like a rash of little boys around here these days. I'm partial to girls myself but all's well as long as he's healthy right?

Well we'll all look forward to his birthday.

Congrats!

Um, you haven't seen the Alien movies have you? No? Ok. Good.

Don't. Not for awhile.

I havent seen this thread yet.

Congratulations, Tamia! Thats awesome news. I wish you all the best, and I hope your son is born happy and healthy!

Take care,.

That's kinda how I hoped the birth would be..........quick and easy! 🙂

Your birth experience will be what it will be. You're anxious enough as it is; don't let ANYONE make you worry more. You'll be fine.

When things are over and done and they introduce you to your baby boy, it will be worth whatever you went through.

Congrats Tamia on your soon to be healthy baby boy. I bet you must be so excited!🙂 That is so neat. Yeah I agree with kis123 each woman has a unique and different individual experience when it comes to having a baby. It is varied and different for each person. I congratulate you on becoming a mommy-sorry don't really have any advice to give-since I have not ever had the experience of being a mommy.

However I would say-just try to stay calm, relaxed, and I would say if you are bit spooked about your first time having a baby-just stay informed on what to expect and what will happen-enough to know what is going on-but not to spook you. Also I would avoid listening to horror stories : you know what I am talking about-well caring and loving family members, friends, and others that want to tell you their individual struggles/birth horror stories. It is not that they mean harm/mean to scare you-just feel want to warn you and keep you aware-but likely best to avoid / not listen/make it clear not going to listen/tolerate horror stories of having a baby/birth process.

You wonder how I know this-I have a really big family. My mom's mother-my grandma and grandpa have nine kids and lots of grandchildren-great grandchildren. Being that my grandma is Catholic-getting married and having families-having kids is a big thing. So growing up I seen a lot of my cousins getting married and starting families and hearing horror stories about the birth process sadly. So just remember your experience will be unique-try to stay positive and calm-avoid birth horror stories at all costs.:bunny:
