Although there are many great male 'ler's, and some male 'lee's are VERY ticklish, I think women are the major factor in both scenarios.

Overall, I think women are more ticklish than men, but they are also better ticklers/teasers as well.

So, I think the fact that women are more ticklish makes it easier for a male 'ler to drive them crazy. But, because women are also so good at tickling, even if a male 'lee isn't as ticklish, a good female 'ler can drive them insane too.

Socially, culturally I think the common answer is that women are more ticklish. Whether that is empirically true is another thing.
My limited experience with about a dozen women has found them very ticklish but only 2 or 3 were good ticklers. But they were very good.
I have no real experience with men and tickling.
I think the light tickle can, in the long run, be more devastating than the harder tickle.

imho any can be better ticklers but m are more ticklish then f on average from my experiences ( but i have only done about 15-20 proper tickle torturings and more of them were m then f so its not a lot of experience but they were all very in depth)

I have to say that in my experience, which is actually quite a bit....although i haven't done much / if any tickling on the male species....however I can tell you that in my lifetime almost all if not all the women I've ever known/dated/friended/tickle played/one/2/or 3 night stand'd/ basically any women I've ever engaged in whatever degree of tickling. The gals were overwhelmingly more ticklish than me. However I do whole heartedly believe that women make much better lers.....

I feel like gender doesn't really have much to do with both. Sensory-wise, a person's level of ticklishness can coincide with how under or overreactive a person's nervous system is. I have sensory processing disorder that makes my sense of touch, sight, and hearing extremely sensitive. On one hand it makes me a level of ticklish that is frankly ridiculous. On the other hand, loud noises, bright lights, and certain touch sensations such as tulle or the seams of clothing can cause me physical pain. The sensory profile of an individual is not influenced by sex as far as I know. My husband shares the same sensory processing disorder and he is even more ticklish than I am. The only difference for him is the fact that he hates the sensation with a passion.

I noted with mild amusement that since the bulk of the people on this forum consume F/F content, there's always this undercurrent of "women are better ticklers/women are more ticklish" floating around. When I read the opening post, I said to myself "I know which position the OP is going to hold", and I was right. I'll also note with mild amusement that the OP himself hasn't refuted what I said, so there's that.

I didn't know if "The OP, for example." was an insult or not. So I just left it.

You disagree with my opinion. And that's fine. That's what the forum and thread is for.

But I want to correct you on one thing, just for the record: I watch M/F, F/F, and M/F videos, not just F/F videos, as you assumed.

My opinion is partly based on videos, but also on tickling I have done and seen in real life. I think women are more ticklish and are better ticklers.

That said, I’ve only ever played with one female and I don’t really know what spot she was at, because there were 4 of them. But I prefer male ler’s more from the comfort standpoint.

On who is the most ticklish, I have yet to see any difference between men and women. A lot of men may try to hide it out of the fear of it not being "manly", but that's about it.
On who are the better Lers, the technique may vary between men and women I have witnessed that. However, that does not define "better", as different techniques work with different people. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think trying to set any type of precedent regarding an individual's sex and ticklishness is prone to errors and misleading information.

While I don't have many tickling experiences in my life, I have run into a handful of women who are not ticklish at all, while I have observed other males who shriek and curl up into a little ball over the slightest poke to the sides.

My female best friend has also tried to tickle me several times in the past, and she can be very rough/aggressive with it to the point where it actually hurts. She thinks she's tickling me, but she's digging her fingers into my ribcage causing me pain.

I realize this is only one small example, but it illustrates the fact that we can't really make tickling assumptions based off of one's biological sex.

I will say that I feel like women are more likely to be tickled than men by other women and men. I feel that because society generally holds, or used to hold, a tough, domineering, in control view for men, that they are less likely to be tickled and people are less likely to tickle them, unless for comedic or silly purposes.

Obviously that isn't true in this community, but one could also argue that is one of the many reasons this community exists.

There's a lot of different things to account for in it.

I honestly would be willing to say women are more likely to BE ticklish while men are more likely to be ticklish on a higher scale. That may not make much sense, but think of this. Men are more prone to being less flexible while is usually caused by muscle tightness, when a muscle is tight and overworked, it tends to become more vulnerable to pain and touch. Also, I think it's a social stigma that being ticklish is a sign of weakness, so the embarrassment of being ticklish cause you to feel more vulnerable, which might heighten you vulnerability to tickling.

Obviously, that's all insanely speculative and could be proven wrong, but I do think there are physical and psychological attributes that can cause you to be more or even less ticklish.

Sorry that's a very like non-sense driven thought process, but I feel like there's a little bit to it, at least.

So TLDR : More women are likely to be ticklish, while more men are likely to be MORE ticklish.
