Maturity is overrated sometimes. It's better to allow for natural civil disagreement and such. So long as it's civil, it's all good.

Heck, *I've* been outta bounds here before, if memory serves. I don't know if any of the regular contributors are "perfect" in their contributions.

Given that I was part of the USENET scene first, it's a change of gears for me, as for some of you, to post without flaming. It's not too tough, though. Takes very little time to learn. I'm enjoyin' it, and it's perpetuating in my "vanilla" life. There's advantage there, too.

I do hope someone else posts, too. I hate that whole "last word" thing...

One thing I don't like...

Is when a disagreeable post is made, and the gloves come off by everyone who responds, usu. making erroneous assumptions about the person who had the "balls" to speak his/her mind in the first place.
I don't know, it's just sometimes, when I do post, I get the feeling that big brother is watching...

Moses25, as long as you make your disagreement clearly understood, without breakin' the rather simple rules o' this place, it's all good. If someone gets rabidly disagreeable on ya, who looks worse - you, for a disagreement civilly made, or them, for a rabid response?

I'd rather civilly disagree. Doesn't wear as poorly.

Passionate thinking is no excuse for poor behavior, after all.

Is Q watchin' us again? I've missed the man in the political discussions...
