overheard "the question" asked at work today

So I was sitting at my desk and a female co worker in her 20's was walking around, I think on her way to the bathroom, and as she passed by another female co worker's desk (someone very young and immature) she's asked "Are you ticklish?" ...totally randomly, just as she's walking by, and the girl asked as if she was asking "what time is it?" or "do you have any gum?" Totally came out of no where...unfortunately, the girl responded with "No? ...weird" and kept walking...who knows if it was an honest answer or if she just felt awkward...SO Weird.

What does each of them look like?
Do they get along? Are they friends? Or do they not like each other?
Describe the personality of the girl who asked about the tickling.

Are you sure you didn't hear what you really wanted to hear? I believe you, but it is very weird. And who doesn't tickle test someone after asking that . . . we all know, "Are you ticklish?" is almost always rhetorical.

But I love office tickle stories. Let us know if more develops. AND you got yourself an opening with these ladies if you wanna bring up tickling in general convo . . . see where it leads. Best...
