Pain from babyoil?

So, I had a friend over this weekend for some tickling (which was mostly a success). The only problem is that after I added baby oil on her feet she said it started to hurt more than tickle. I had to go extremely slow and VERY lightly tickle her to get a ticklish reaction with the baby oil. Even the brush, which drove her nuts previously, started to have more of a painful reaction than a ticklish one.

Has anyone ever encountered this before? I wasn't tickling any harder or faster than I was without the baby oil, so it couldn't have been that.

Hmm, nope that doesn't sound right. maybe she is allergic to it? try plain lotion with the brush next time instead. If it does the same thing?? Then I'd say just stick with what works

How long were you tickling her for before you applied the babyoil? Anyone can feel irriated after too much tickling. Babyoil almost always makes it more intense. Allergy is a good point.

I was tickling her for a few minutes. Maybe 3 or 4 minutes before I used the baby oil.

EDIT: Oh, and I don't think she's allergic to it. We used it later (for non-tickling purposes) and had no problems in that area.

LOL! It was definitely not a dog brush! I actually had three I tried out and the standard one you see in videos is what ended up working the best.

As I said earlier, she was going nuts without the baby oil. It was only when I added it that she said it started to hurt. The only way I got a ticklish reaction after that was when I tickled her EXTREMELY lightly and slow.

I don't know. I'm guessing it probably sensitized her feet a little too much. Next time, I'm just gonna wait a minute or two after I've tickled her for a few minutes. See how that works.

EDIT: Oh and thanks for the replies!

If she has really delicate skin, the oil may have softened it enough to make a ticklish touch turn painful...

That's the best I can come up with, anyway. I'm a rhino, not a doctor! 😛

Baby oil is extremely gentle to skin so it is very odd that this happened. The only thing I can think of is if it was not pure baby oil or was scented or had some type of lotion in it. I would check the ingredients.

Those vanilla bastards have been tainting our baby oil!!

****bullhorn***** "Step away from the pressure washer and BBQ grill brush" That result does seem odd. Try some lube or even cooking oil and see if that works better. Maybe using fingers(vs a brush) and the oil will keep it in da good zone for her. She possibly could reach the pain threshold even without the oil if tickled for a long enough duration. Good luck to you both and remember "oils well that ends well" ***groan****

I love using baby oil and it never hurt me before. Not on my feet, stomach, sides or legs. If anything it made me much more ticklish. Hmmm, wonder why it hurt her though.

Judging by your name I'm guessing you're a foot guy? She may have just said that to get you to go to her other spots.
