I'm watching the pre-game for the National Championship and suddenly it's time yet again for Lou Holt to add in his take on the game. I know it's wrong to pick on somebody for having a speech impediment, but seriously, they could've gotten someone else for the job that doesn't talk like he's got a gallon of spit in his mouth.

Dr. Lou is a college football legend. Maybe in his old age he has lost a bit of his silver tongue, but I think ESPN figures you can get passed that fact because of the amount of knowledge that he possesses about the game.

he's funny, and he doesn't just spew stats like Mark May does. That's all I want in an analyst

Lou Holtz was the whiniest baby of a coach in history . I remember when Notre Dame would lose and all Holtz would do was blame the high academic standards for enrollment . How can we win when I can't recruit the same athletes as Miami or Alabama was his calling card

Sopme call it whinning but look at how Miami then was on it way to Nat'l Championships along with Alabama and Notre Dame has declined in those 15 years.
