Pay to pee?

Yeah. That and the new carry on fees, etc. They're going way too far to make a buck. As with so many other things, the prices continue to rise while the quality/quantity decrease. Grrrrrr!!! We need to stop paying those outrageous prices. Then, perhaps they'll think twice about trying to rip us off.

That's insane that they would charge for that. There's now another airline that is going to start charging for the carry on luggage too. If it has to stored over head there is a charge the only thing that not charged is stuff that can fit under the seat. It almost seems like it would be cheaper to mail your luggage to the hotel ahead of you than packing it and taking it with you.

I would be tempted to urinate into their vomit bag instead. :eeew:
Or do they also charge for vomit bags? :rowfull:

do you get a refund or a credit if the vomit bag already has vomit in it? LOL!!!!

Well on the plus side, maybe less people will take shits on the airline flights. Whenever I'm on a plane and go take a piss I feel like I'm stepping into an old outhouse that hasn't been cleaned in a a decade. They stink and are about as unsanitary as can be. Maybe they'll be cleaner if less people use them.

Dumb idea as far as I'm concerned, but I bet it'll become the wave of the future. Doesn't matter much to me because I can count the times I've used airplane toilets on one hand with plenty of fingers left over. Squeezing my big behind into that stall is one helluva adventure I can do without!!!

I'll start a "Let's Wear Depends When We Fly" campaign. 😀

I'll start a "Let's Wear Depends When We Fly" campaign. 😀

The airline that plans to begin this is already in the process of installing pay toilets. Will flight attendants now be required to provide proper change to those who don't have it on hand? Who knows? If so, I'll bet they'll have a fee for that too!

Guys can just start peeing in cups. Ladies...wear the depends pads and peel them off to toss on the tray table just before they come to pick things up before landing. That'd get their attention! Gross, I know. But, I'll bet it would be effective! And I'll bet there will be some who actually will pull stuff like that. Once airplanes start smelling like dirty restrooms, they'll re-think this policy.

Seriously, though... I think we're likely to see some regulation of this policy if it gains any momentum. I doubt they'll allow it to remain on longer flights.

Yes, but many public restrooms in Europe (at least the ones I went to in Poland and London) also charge you, as well.

Maybe it's a European thing....

All restrooms on highways here in Germany belong to Sanifair and it costs 50 cents to get in. For that, you get perfectly clean and automatically desinfecting toilets, and the tickets the automat gives you for that can be turned in at the restroom shop for food or drinks. I think it's a great idea.

As for ryanair, that has been in the news years ago already and has already, as far as I know, been denied. Maye they will do it now, I don't know, but I am pretty sure people will still fly with them as they are ridiculously cheap and very popular.

Do I have to know what a "number 2" is (although I think I can almost guess!)?

This is why I refuse to travel via air plane.

I would probably consider a train, but other than that, I would either walk, use a bike, or get a ride somewhere; definitely so if the destination is far off.

You know, these options just don't exist for some places in the world. 🙂

Eh, if the overall price of the flight were less, than yeah, I would still go. But if the prices were the same to say, some other flight that didn't charge you for a necessity like jackasses, than I would go to that one instead. xD But hey, if it's only for flights an hour or less, I think I'd be able to hold it in anyway.

With Ryanair you can get as low as paying 99 cents for a flight...you just add the taxes, that's it.

And to think we used to "crawl under" to save a dime and now they want over a buck.
I say save your money, piss on their seats and see if they like the cleaning bill better.

Perhaps pubic restrooms in the US should consider this as well, then. Maybe people (the pubic who uses them, and the owners who employ them) would take a little bit of pride in them.

How many times have we walked into a public restroom only to find we couldn't use it because it was either understocked or vandalised by the neighborhood hoodlum?

Perhaps if we started to charge, we would see less of the riff-raff that hang around.
