Pets, pets, pets!

2 dogs:

1 Golden Retriever mix - ancient - going blind - dumb as dirt (blonde), but always been a 'happy' dog - barks at thin air...always has - adopted me about 10 years ago.

1 Rottweiler full breed - 4 or 5 years old - sharp as a tack - only barks when there is an actual threat - neighbours love her - best dog I've ever had, and will have Rotts from now on, but I've found a lump on her :sad: . Oh, and she's very jealous (all girl, eh?). I rescued her from the middle of a busy thorughfare when she was young, like 1 - 2 years old.

2 horses:

1 American Quarter Horse gelding - been with me since about '92-'93 - he's 26 now and retired, and still looks damn good for a horse of that age.

1 Thoroughbred mare - 14 now - had her since she was a 2 year old (actually rescued this one, she was a rack of bones when I found her).

Pets? I've had aprox a gazillion animals in my life (give or take a few). This includes but is probably not limited to;
Several cats (most simply named "kitty" since my cats never learn their names. Some distinctions were 'little kitty', 'mama kitty'...)
A few rats
A hamster
Two small snakes named Mathew and Eric
A black wisow spider
a few white mice
Something like 17 dogs if you include the 3 litters of puppies we have had
Various captured salamanders, frogs, etc
2 parakeets who both experienced untimely deaths, one from a cold and the other which somehow got out of his cage and was caught by a dog
2 goldfish (not including the feeders we had to feed the snakes)

There may be more but I cant think of them right now.

2 Guniea pigs named Kitty and Chibi
1 old eleven year old dog (my sweet hound mix from the firt litter of pups we had) and my hubby's old twelve year old lab.
A tiny tiny baby turtle hubby found baking in the parking lot at work and rescued.
