Thank you both Rick and Izzy 🙂 Though as I said, and will continue saying, I don't consider myself a good tickler... lack of experience being the reason.

I agree with your thoughts on how to break a sub, but I think you overlook the fact that for some people, pain is as desireable as being tickled. The proper application if pain isn't to just lay into someone until they're begging because it hurts, but also to achieve that understanding that the Master is in charge. Forms of pain play can be easily used just as delicately and tactically as the tickling you describe, building the same feeling of anticipation.

But that is a notion that most ticklephiles seem to overlook in my experience. Much like Marie, they can't seem to wrap their head around the idea that for some pain is as much a turn on as tickling, and that it can be used as more than simply a blunt tool, but also as a precision instrument.

Of course... my spacing and wording were somewhat inaccurate. Now that I look back at my post, it really does seem like no pleasure can come out of pain, and that only ticklers can make the master/slave thing count.

That is not what I meant to say.

Both the masters using pain and tickling need to break their subs. They just take different routes to that. What I meant to say was that most ticklers forget that fact, whereas whipping always made a strong power-play. As a master, it is your duty towards your slave to show them 'how things are'... to lead them and guide them... to break their will and enslave their mind. Choose tickling or choose pain... both are just tools of achieving that. It is the sensation of having your Slave at your feet, seeing their broken look as they kneel before and submit to you, acknowledge you as their Master that counts.

Now, as you said, pain can be pleasurable to some and, if kept at bearable level (as I believe there is a point beyond which pain stops being pleasure), and yes, I believe that there is a way of making someone orgasm through pain, though I'm not so sure if you could keep them in that broken state for so long. I was talking about how, after your Slave being broken, after reaching that beautiful stage, they usually beg their Masters to stop. Of course, by lighter strokes, you can give them pleasure, but it will be a rare occasion on which the Slave will beg for more... unless, of course, the Master commands (which I very much like, both with tickling and pain).
