Problems accessing Inbox?

When I try to view my private messages, it tells me I dont have the priviledge of viewing that folder. Anybody any idea why this would be?

I think you have to have a certain amount of posts to access private messages but you should talk with a moderator first.

What does it say when you click the private messages link under "Welcome Irish82"

It says:

irish82, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.


I think my account is activated although i cant remember for sure cos it was so long ago. How do I check this>

If I remember correctly, you usually get a e-mail confirmation that you are now a official member of a site and all you need to do is reply to that e-mail. That activates the user account. I can try to contact a mod by pm for you.

Just thinking, I must be active as I did previously have access to the inbox before they brought in the 10 post rule...
