It's reasons like these that make me wish TT has a 'like' button. 😛
Why thank you.

No,because a real and respectable Priest or Pope would not do those things. The ones that do,should have their license or priesthood taken from them.Even if it does seem to be a lot of them lately.God and/or Jesus would be very angry and hurt with them for being so evil.
You don't seem to understand the irony of that statement. I'm going to be extremely blunt in my explanation that follows, and first state that I'm not making a religious/spiritual argument. This is about honesty. I cannot confirm or deny the existence of god, or similar supernatural phenomena. This is because I'm honest. I can state how I feel on the matter, and I can present my argument that shows a lack of evidence, but lack of evidence doesn't always mean something isn't real. I won't deny that. With that said, there cannot be such a thing as a respectable pope. The pope's job is to actively lie and deceive people to line the church's pockets. Hell, this pope lies and attempts to deceive people in his off time.

I posted this link in another thread, but I find to be relevant to this conversation. The pope has to
claim divinity (which is a terribly hilarious lie) in order to keep the church flush. In order to claim divinity, the pope has to completely wash his hands of any problems within the catholic church that can be linked back to him dropping the ball. The pope is just a glorified political leader. The picture I'm posting below is a hilarious example of just how much the pope himself, and the church - actually believes in his divinity.
A right minded person in any religion however looks past those stupid ideals and recognizes them for what they are, stupid. And they don't practice them. You should not judge a person by their religion, but by how they practice it. Though one shouldn't judge at all, but, since you are, judge them right.
On the contrary, I judge religions by their actions throughout history. History has shown that large religious organizations have a tendency to lie, destroy property, commit murder, and rape. I've met moderate-minded christians, jews, and even a few muslims. I don't have a problem with the people themselves. I have a problem with the way they're so easily-swayed by their religious leaders, which tends to influence politics.
The best case scenario for this type of situation shows these good-hearted but misguided people inadvertently lining their religious leaders' pockets. A not-so-good scenario has them shaping laws. The worst case scenario shows good-hearted but horribly-misguided people crashing airplanes into buildings, and blowing themselves up in crowded streets - in the name of their god. "Right-minded" is perceptual in the end.
