i saw a disturbing post in which someone said it's not rape since she got turned on by it..i would like to ask you all..do you believe that? because i definitely do not..how your body reacts to something is many times something you cannot control...

let me use a generic example..say i'm boiling mad about something..and someone comes up and gives me a tickle...i'll try not to giggle as i'm pissed as hell, but eventually i'll probably give in..although it's the furthest thing from my mind to want to do...so although i giggled eventually, i was not enjoying it as it was not something i wanted at that time..

ok that didn't make any sense..but you get what i mean..
 
Rape is always rape.
No matter how turned on a girl is by anything, that doesn't warrent for some guy to violate her. I find it more disturbing that people would think that just because she's turned on it's okay to rape her. It says alot about the morality of those people.

I responded to that person too. I'm not saying he's a bad person or would rape a girl. But I did not agree with him in the least. Like I said, I've been in situations when I was horny and turned on by a guy but I would have kicked him in the balls and called the cops if he tried to pull my clothes off.

The girl in the story said "no," and that's all that needs to be said. Period. The end. I won't stand for, "but she liked it," or "she wanted it." Frankly, that's bull.

Violating someone when they've consciously and obviously made it clear that they don't want to have contact like that is rape, agreed. We aren't masters of our bodies at all times, but we're masters of our minds, dammit... and it's ridiculous for a guy to say "Well, she wanted it anyway." I want some of those guys to imagine a situation where they're tossed out on their ass from a nice, enjoyable job because a girl saw that he had an erection at his desk and cried sexual harrassment and he had to pay her a settlement for emotional distress.

Sound ridiculous? Yeah, both should pretty damn well sound that way. It's a feeble comparison to make between losing livelihood and living with a stigma versus being horribly violated in a deep and intimate way that may leave someone never feeling the same... but maybe it'll at least get people freakin' thinking about it.

I've read other such excuses like "She was all coming on to me and when I finally got her naked she said 'no'... that's bullshit, now I got blue balls." or something to that effect. If a girl's refusing sex after "building up" a guy, I'm pretty sure rape isn't an acceptable "prank" in reply. Seriously, steal the batteries for her vibrator if she has one or short her sheets or something...

Respect the ladies, fellows. Seriously, it's not as hard as some people make it out to be.
 
This really isn't a difficult concept - it's all about consent. If you don't have consent it is rape.

You're not sure you have consent? Ask!
 
I've heard/read that the girl "being turned on" by it isn't really that. It's a body's defense mechanism. Not being a girl, I can't say this from experience, but I'm sure if the body doesn't react (e.g. get natually lubed) it's gonna hurt a lot worse than if it does nothing.

But, yeah. No means no. Testosterone is not invited to the "excuse parade".

(I do like the steal the batteries suggestion, though)
 
How is this even a question? If the victim says no, then by law it's a crime. There's no gray area in that.

Now, kidding aside, there's no such thing as rape. Women don't have rights, because we're inferior creatures. What on earth did they teach you people in school? Don't think of it as rape, think of it as.. being chosen! Women should be flattered when they're chosen.

Once the magic words "NO" or "STOP" are uttered, sex becomes rape. It's simple and what's more, if they give consent originally but then withdraw consent but the other continues the violation > rape.

The sheriff, as the lawman he is, is right on the money! 🙂

ahh hmm...lol...

oo yea like the rapist is gonna listen to the victim when she says no..and of course it's a crime..i never said any different..but someone suggested in the story section that since she was rather "turned on" during this kidnap/rape scenario that it in fact was not rape..and that is what i found disturbing..
 
Hey, somewhere out there could be the most kind and considerate rapist in the world, who almost goes through with it and then decides to stop and turn himself in. Every christmas, he sends her a card with a picture of him and new his cellmate who makes him refer to him as "Daddy". 😀
