I've been holding this since spring of 2015, when I shot it, because sometimes I love an amazing segment so much I want to keep it to myself!
Sitting on the north edge of the lawn was this beautiful woman, who reminded me of a young Michele Bachmann. I saw her throughout the summer and fall at lunchtime, always sitting in the same area, always with her size 9 loafers off, always with her bare feet propped up on a chair -- but this very first time was the best display of her utterly perfect bare feet -- beautifully shaped, soft and tender, ankles usually crossed so they're perfectly on display. As I saw her through the year, even when her feet were on display again, I didn't shoot her after this, because this is perfect and you can't improve on perfection!
I got the sense that she was a sort of girl Friday, not an executive but an indispensable helper to a manager. I'll bet that's how she spends her days, when her feet are not resting in the park!
This first time I sat down to shoot and I put her in the center of my viewfinder and the sight just took my breath away. But for a while she did not react or look at all, and I was worried because I thought maybe she did not know what I was doing, and it's important for the woman to know so she can react however she wants. But then after a minute or two she shot a look straight at the camera, and she did that several times during the segment. Sometimes she shoot a quick look at me, then smirk almost imperceptibly, then look at her own bare feet sticking out in front of her, right in the camera lens, and wriggle or curl her perfect toes. So this hinted to me that she was aware of what I was doing.
She's married and has very sweet body language -- like she would absentmindedly chew the inside of her mouth now and then, getting a cute little face as she did so. She's quite beautiful but you get the sense she doesn't know it. Occasionally she would rub one plump, shapely big toe against the side of the other foot, which is just too cute.
Now and then she seemed to listen to voice-mails by holding her and at one point she got one and listened to it, then rubbed her sore neck, put her well worn loafers back on, and went back to her office. I had shot over 15 minutes of her exquisite bare soles and beautiful face so I was overjoyed. Many times over that ensuing year I would see her doing the same thing, but never again would her feet be so enticingly propped up for display. She hasn't been back at all since 2015. I miss her!

Really NOTHING doing past week or so on the lawn. It's closed so often there's really no opportunity to shoot! But this evening the lawn (finally) opened, so I was there. Still, no shooting opportunities ... except, eventually, ONE. On the southern edge of the lawn was the ONLY woman in the entire park with her shoes off and feet up. IO had been sitting in a chair about 100 feet away and got bored and so stood up and saw the soles and was like WHOAH and walked right over there. This gal was very tall, slender, with long legs, and big long feet, which were sort of awkwardly flexing and wriggling around, like Olive Oyl might do! She was sort of plain but when I see BIG bare soles like that I have to capture them, and capture them I did. And soft, tender, pampered soles they are too -- they must be SO sensitive.
I began shooting and like I said she was wriggling and flexing those big feet around. Big frisky soles! She was watching something on her iPad I think. Eventually she noticed the camera and you can see her look at it and then sort of look around with a little smirk on her face and then look back at the camera, but then she looked away and back at her iPad. Every once in a while she would cast a quick look at the camcorder lens but that's about it. After about nine minutes or so she smirked and slid her feet back into her big flops, and I knew it was time to go, but I left with a smile on my face -- almost ten minutes of super-big Asian soles! So rare. I imagined her Chinese grandmother and the field day she must have had teasing this lanky gal about those "banana boats!"

This was a nice pleasant day and I arrived with high expectations but little developed for a while. I was strolling along one of the alleys (which I do when nothing is happening on the lawn) when I glanced over to the southern edge of the lawn, and sitting in two chairs with feet up and soles pointed toward the lawn was a very tall, very skinny blonde. I walked right over but unfortunately an man and a little girl were sitting right where I needed to be. I went over anyway and stood behind the tall blonde (who I could now see was a bleach blonde, with a layer of natural dark hair at the root line) and noticed she was reading some comb-bound document which, as I looked at it, was clearly in Dutch. So I assumed, and still do, that she's Dutch too.
The little girl got up and began running around the lawn and the man got up too and walked slowly toward her, keeping an eye on her, and I grabbed my opportunity, scooting over and sitting where they had been. I put my camera in my lap and opened the viewfinder. I saw her look up and when she was in my viewfinder I saw her give the camera a long, cold stare, then go back to her document. She had a sharp, handsome face rather than a pretty one, and while of course I don't know her, and this could be totally wrong, but she seemed like the cold dominant type, like someone who is accustomed to having men groveling at her feet as she coldly assesses them. She had a pair of those short booties on the grass below her, witchie-poo types, and I could see her strutting around in tall boots with a whip, sneering at a kneeling man! That is not my thing at ALL, but actually seeing the soles of a tough woman like that is a big turn-on to me, as I imagine turning things around on her as her sensitive soles are stroked and tickled. After initially checking out what I was doing, she hardly paid me any mind.
At first, for about six minutes, she had her feet at an angle I don't really like, the soles pointed halfway toward the seat bottom, but I kept shooting anyway, hoping she would change position, and then the payoff -- BAM -- she recrossed her ankles and her big soles, size 10 or 11, were looming huge and perfectly captured in my lens. I thought, thank GOD, I hope she stays that way ... and she did! Her big soft soles were really OUT THERE. Every once in a while she would get a text and read it and smirk, but she mostly read her document. Toward the end of the clips she began to curl and scrunch her feet around a bit. Then she crossed her ankles again back to the position I don't like as much, and since my legs were positively killing me by now, I got up and left. Very exciting to have the vulnerable bare soles of a cold arrogant dominant woman!

Was at the park yesterday. The lawn was actually open, for an astonishing change -- because of a noisy event, a Broadway musical performance.
It felt like Jakarta in NYC yesterday, so in addition to looking for attractive soles propped up I was trying not to die of heat stroke. I failed in the first mission but succeeded in the second. ;-)
However I did happen upon this tiny, exquisitely beautiful Asian girl with her very bored-looking white boyfriend. She had slipped her gorgeous little feet out of her demure flats and was wriggling them around cozily. No face and sole so I didn't bother with video, but took a few photos. Enjoy.

This was the first time a girl ever REALLY spoke to me after I shot vid of her, and this led to a fruitful friendship!
It was in 2012 and I was very disappointed to show up at the park when its website said the lawn was open, only to find it was closed. I was really eager to shoot, so instead of leaving, I walked around the alleys of the park, then in front of the library, for THREE HOURS. In the late afternoon, I was pretty tired and decided to go home. I walked one more time around the library and I saw soles! She was exotic looking and had tinted hair, and her cute soles were really propped up nicely, her black boots on the ground below her, white socks peeking out of the tops of the boots.
So in order to shoot the vid I would have to do the very embarrassing thing of sitting on the sidewalk and taking out a camera, which of course is what I did -- at this point I would have got naked in order to get some footage. Naturally this attracted her attention IMMEDIATELY. This is the moment of truth -- either the woman doesn't like it and puts her feet down and maybe even chews you out, or her curiosity and bemusement gets the better of her, and she leaves her feet up for the experience of having her bare soles video'ed by a stranger. To my immense relief, this girl was so sporting. She gave me the funniest looks, very sly, very bemused, the whole time. Her soles looked very soft and very sensitive, and as it turns out, my instincts were 100% right!
She wriggled her feet around at me from time to time, her expression showing that she was entertained by the attention as I was by the sight of her bare soles. Now and then she would put them down (and I'd stop shooting) but then she'd see I would lower my camera so after a minute or so she'd put her feet back up and cross her ankles and of course I'd promptly start shooting again. Finally she put her feet down, and I put the camera away and was getting my carcass off the sidewalk when she said to me, "it almost tickled me to have you do that." I laughed and asked her what she meant, and she said, "my feet are excruciatingly ticklish -- I was worried you would lean over and tickle them because if you did I might kick your head!" She went on to tell me how her brothers used to pin her down when she was being annoying as a girl (apparently, often) and tickle her feet until she nearly had asthma attacks! I thought to myself, hmm, and started a whole new conversation with her ....
My favorite moments were when she looked at the camera so most of the caps reflect that, lol

Things have gotten pretty grim in the park. The lawn is basically never open anymore, and even on those rare occasions when it is, women seem to be keeping their shoes on more than ever when they put their feet up. Why? Is it a more self-conscious age? So it's with great relief when I finally do see a pair of tootsies up and it's even greater when the woman seems not to mind and leaves them up as I film.
This was a rare example of such an occasion -- the lawn opened at 5pm (!!!) and I went to see what (if anything) was happening. At first nothing, but then I saw a woman walk onto the lawn carrying a chair from the gravel path. She went over to an unoccupied chair and that immediately drew my attention because when that happens it almost always means she's going to sit on one chair and put her feet on another! But that did not happen, she ate her (lunch? dinner?) on the other chair. DISAPPOINTED. So I walked around the lawn, still not really seeing anything, until later I saw that same woman had cleared the stuff from her meal off that chair ... and she was taking her sandals off! She had those roman style sandals on, cream colored, with all the straps -- they're very popular these days. She got them off and put her feet up on the chair and crossed her ankles, and took out a book.
As you can imagine I lost little time getting over there. I sat down, took the camera out and got ready to do my thing. She looked at me and the camera when I was setting up, gave her feet two or three strong flexes, but then went right back to her book. I started shooting and soon after I started she gave another look at the camera, I guess to see if I was doing what she had earlier suspected I was doing, and yes of course I was! How could I not? She had a wholesome, girl next door attractiveness, was a slim, small gal, and had her golden brown hair in a casual, girlish ponytail. She had the face of so many of the Irish American girls I had grown up with. Her feet were long and slender with a gentle, attractive taper to her toes -- she had obviously been walking around a lot in those leather sandals because there was some street grime on her shapely soles, where the little vents were in the sandals. I had sat close to her and I actually got the aroma of her foot odor mixed with the smell of leather, which is very unusual for me -- I usually don't smell a thing. It wasn't at all an unpleasant smell, but it was definitely there. Maybe I was downwind of her feet or something! lol But anyway as I was saying once shooting was well and truly underway she looked once ... her feet twitched a little ... she looked again ... and her feet twitched some more! But then she just kept on reading.
She would continue to look periodically but there was absolutely no concern or upset in it whatsoever, in fact she would look, then go back to her book, read something funny and chuckle. What I liked the most about this was the way she would flex her bare feet as she read -- she was reading a very smart and unusual book, which marked her as an intelligent woman -- no "Eat Pray Love" for her! I guess she would read something particularly interesting and it would make her feet FLEX quite strongly. This flexing was not non-stop but it was pretty frequent. I shot for about a half hour, until I used up all the space on my camcorder. During that time there were many of those sexy flexes, wrinkles developing on her smooth soft, slightly grimy soles. She also played with her pony tail, twirling it periodically -- I have read that women play with their hair when they know a man is interested in them, so I always find that very cute when a girl I'm shooting does that.
As I mentioned I ran out of available space on my internal memory and had to stop shooting for a minute to switch over to my memory card -- so I had to put the camera down and start playing with the touch screen. She must have noticed that I had stopped pointing the camera at her soles, because she put her feet down, put the roman sandals back on, and left! Whenever that happens I can't help but wonder whether she stayed as long as she did -- bare soles pointed straight at the stranger's camera lens -- because she may have been intrigued by the whole experience. Was she? Who knows. But I'm glad she stayed as long as she did!!!

So I walked around the lawn, still not really seeing anything, until later I saw that same woman had cleared the stuff from her meal off that chair ... and she was taking her sandals off! She had those roman style sandals on, cream colored, with all the straps -- they're very popular these days. She got them off and put her feet up on the chair and crossed her ankles, and took out a book.
As you can imagine I lost little time getting over there. I sat down, took the camera out and got ready to do my thing. She looked at me and the camera when I was setting up, gave her feet two or three strong flexes, but then went right back to her book. I started shooting and soon after I started she gave another look at the camera, I guess to see if I was doing what she had earlier suspected I was doing, and yes of course I was! How could I not? She had a wholesome, girl next door attractiveness, was a slim, small gal, and had her golden brown hair in a casual, girlish ponytail. She had the face of so many of the Irish American girls I had grown up with. Her feet were long and slender with a gentle, attractive taper to her toes -- she had obviously been walking around a lot in those leather sandals because there was some street grime on her shapely soles, where the little vents were in the sandals. I had sat close to her and I actually got the aroma of her foot odor mixed with the smell of leather, which is very unusual for me -- I usually don't smell a thing. It wasn't at all an unpleasant smell, but it was definitely there. Maybe I was downwind of her feet or something! lol But anyway as I was saying once shooting was well and truly underway she looked once ... her feet twitched a little ... she looked again ... and her feet twitched some more! But then she just kept on reading.
She would continue to look periodically but there was absolutely no concern or upset in it whatsoever, in fact she would look, then go back to her book, read something funny and chuckle. What I liked the most about this was the way she would flex her bare feet as she read -- she was reading a very smart and unusual book, which marked her as an intelligent woman -- no "Eat Pray Love" for her! I guess she would read something particularly interesting and it would make her feet FLEX quite strongly. This flexing was not non-stop but it was pretty frequent. I shot for about a half hour, until I used up all the space on my camcorder. During that time there were many of those sexy flexes, wrinkles developing on her smooth soft, slightly grimy soles. She also played with her pony tail, twirling it periodically -- I have read that women play with their hair when they know a man is interested in them, so I always find that very cute when a girl I'm shooting does that.
As I mentioned I ran out of available space on my internal memory and had to stop shooting for a minute to switch over to my memory card -- so I had to put the camera down and start playing with the touch screen. She must have noticed that I had stopped pointing the camera at her soles, because she put her feet down, put the roman sandals back on, and left! Whenever that happens I can't help but wonder whether she stayed as long as she did -- bare soles pointed straight at the stranger's camera lens -- because she may have been intrigued by the whole experience. Was she? Who knows. But I'm glad she stayed as long as she did!!!

Technically, if you use a photo or video taken in public in any way that would be considered for purposes of trade or advertising, you would probably be found liable for the invasion of someone’s right of privacy unless you have gotten releases from every person who is recognizable. That's why you will often see people in shows like America
's Funniest Videos who have had their faces blurred out. There are some recognized exclusions for pics that are considered and marketed as fine art, but I doubt foot FAP videos would meet that definition.

Because the lawn is closed so much now weeks can go by with no good footage, because even in those rare occasions in which it's open nothing may develop, as it often takes a while for the right girl with the right feet to sit the right way.
Like this one, thank God. Proof that there's still life there, when given half a chance. I saw her skin first, so fair. Then I saw her waving an arm in the air as she chatted on the phone. Then I saw her soles and my legs started moving toward her! Big feet, though not huge. As it turns out from her Zicac brand sandals, size 40, confirmed for me that she was a size 9.5. A nice arch and long toes, soles in very good condition. She was having a chat, with an accent I am pretty sure is northern British, and as I sat down she eyed me but didn't miss a beat, and as I took out the camera and pointed it at her bare soles she just kept calm and kept her soles up! She spoke for a minute or so longer, peeking down very casually, without a care in the world, then put her earbud back in and began to listen to music, her feet showing that they like to boogie! I love when girls do that.
The whole time I shot I had those big bare soles right in my viewfinder, clear as day, and I could actually make out her looking down into the lens of my camcorder, then going back to boogeying her soles around. It could not have been clearer that she didn't care, so that made the experience so much more pleasurable for me and frankly much more exciting -- I'm usually focusing so much on getting the segment framed correctly and keeping the camera steady that, if I'm at all tense, the whole thing is pretty taxing on me physically, but when I can relax the experience is pretty intoxicating. That beautiful face, the creamy skin, the big sensitive bare soles looming right there ... it was awesome. She even took her hair out of the scrunchy despite the heat once she was done with her phone call, and arranged it very nicely, which I couldn't help but suspect was to let me see just how good looking she really is!
She stayed for about another 20 minutes before sliding her feet straight at me, then back down onto the ground, and stuck them back in her sandals. I got up and left, and sat on the edge of the lawn. It was really, really hot and I was very sore after sitting very still like that for 20 minutes! Funny thing was, as she left, she walked around on the grass a bit, saw me, then headed straight for me. I was a bit nonplussed by this! I wondered if she'd changed her mind about it being cool and had decided to give me a piece of her mind. She got closer and closer and was looking at me, and I wondered what was going to happen, but I'm pretty unflappable and just sat there poker-faced. As she got really close I could see a little smile on her face and she got onto the path just to my right, walking so close past me that I felt her air and smelled her pretty perfume for a second. That was so exciting I actually wanted to take my camcorder out and look at the video right at that moment! In addition to being beautiful, this girl seems like she's totally fun too.
