That would be my impression of her too. I always remember her from the scene in Walk The Line where she walks barefoot onto the stage and says in her southern drawl "Ah hope y'all don't mind mah bare feet."

I’ve seen this movie quite a few times, there’s another scene where everyone is in a car together, and she has her feet stretched out resting between the front seats.
