Step 2: Be confident/stop being not confident

Step 3: Take a look around the forum. Look at the people who you feel sorry for. Don't act like them. Look at the confident, fun, awesome people. Do that instead.

Step 4: Take your new confidence and go meet women.

Dilemma: WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO MEET WOMENZZ!?!?!?!?

Step 1: Post like a normal person. Talk about shit. Talk about shit other than fetish shit. Join Fetlife. Talk about shit there. Let chicks see that you're a normal guy. Delete this screenname and get a new one so that a chick who finds your new posting interesting doesn't do a search and fall into this thread, because then all your hard work just went into the shitter.

Step 2: Get out of your house and go to stuff and things. Like munches. Or gatherings. Or both. Chicks will be happy to meet you after seeing all the dope shit you've posted. No munch in your area? Host one yourself. Pick a place, post it, and people will show up. Maybe just one or two at first. Eventually you'll have like 78.

Step 3: Go do all that stuff now.

2) Read it again.

3) Read it again, but this time say it out loud.

4) Read it another time, but this time SING the post.

5) Read it yet again, but this time in pig latin.

6) Stop being such a girlie man.

7) Read the quoted post once more. Print it out and take it with you and read it at random points throughout the day.

I'll tell ya...I've been rejected more times in my life then I could ever care to count. Does it bother me? No, because I am who I am...and if someone doesn't like it...that is their issue. I am never going to pretend to be someone I'm not just to get a woman around my arm. I am going to be the man I've been my whole life, and maybe one day a woman will come along that likes me.

Rejection is going to happen, and it will sting. However, it isn't why you were rejected that will define you, but how you rebound from it. Pick yourself up, brush your shoulders off, enjoy being the person you are, and live your Goddamn life.

It is all we can do as human beings.

Figure out the things that make you lack confidence in yourself, and address/fix them. Brooding over rejection is going to get you absolutely nowhere. Kick your self-confidence up several levels and you'll not only face less rejection, but it will also bother you a lot less when it does happen.

There's probably half a billion girls in the world within your approximate dating age range. If one or two or five or even a hundred of them don't like you... Well, so what? Inevitably, someone you're attracted to will be attracted to you as well. Probably several someones. But you're not going to find them by sitting here dwelling on your unsuccessful attempts, you know?

I don't get rejected often, but then again, I don't ask often.

So what can you do? Well, anything that holds back your self esteem...fix it. If you feel held back by your weight...fix it. If you feel held back by your finances...fix it. Ect ect.

And if you can't fix those things for some reason, engineer a work-around. Emphasize your good points such that they at least partly obscure your downside. Wear clothes that flatter you and de-emphasize your extra weight. F'rinstance, low on money? Thrift shops and garage sales are your friends. Learning to cook well, I'm told, can be a perfectly valid remedy for not having lots of money to spend on restaurant dates. I think you get the idea.

And make no mistake, everyone has a downside of some kind. The old saw that no one's perfect is the stone truth.

@Em Es - Right on to what you said about desperation. It's a bummer for oneself and a turn-off for them.

On that note, as an aside: [Soap box mode on] Sex-for-pay is legal in Nevada, to say nothing of Germany, The Netherlands and other advanced countries. If it were legal in the other 49 other states of the union, I believe that a lot of emotional problems, a lot of misery, a lot of frustration and all the bad shit that goes along with it would probably disappear. Oh, and a lot of not-presently-worth-dating people would disappear from the market. [Soap box mode off]
