I will sound like a pessimist, but I think it is really unlikely that something new will happen in regards to Renfaire Tickling and we are past the "golden era". Even the infamous Stimulating Feet videos are nothing new, all videos on their YouTube channel is just a stuff they filmed in 2022 and it seems they never appeared again on any of those festivals.

I would say that it is possible that something like this happens, but it probably takes place in some really small and local event or people doing it are super vigilant that no footage or photo ends up on the internet. Or the organisers are simply against it, knowing that this type of activity can be problematic.

Also, it is quite hard to even search it, even without using words "tickling" or "renfaire".
 
Yeah, as much as I hate to say it, but with the internet making tickle fetishes more widely known, I think a lot of people have finally caught on and have outright banned it. I'm sure that's also the reason the whole "tickle challenge" trend died out as well. The rise of social media as a whole has been kind of a detriment to amateur tickling content since more people now know about tickling fetishes and know not to post tickling, especially foot tickling content on the internet.

I think the best we can hope for now is that some of those old unreleased clips that have been hoarded for years will eventually surface. I know there's quite a few French clips that have never seen the light of day and I'm still holding out hope that some kind soul will release them.

It seemed for a while that there would be very little random tickling in the mainstream in light of how much more well-known the fetish is nowadays, but that broomhandle prank has certainly exploded in the last few months. There are dozens and dozens of videos of people pulling that trick on their partners and friends. And I'm seeing this new thing lately where people are tickling each other based on how much they like something. The Renfaire thing with actual bondage might be a thing of the past, but casual tickling content may not be gone completely.
 
The pandemic may have been a bigger blow than anything else. The troupe that used to perform at Canelli and other venues in northern Italy (they were even hired to set up in shopping malls, and people loved it) was active through 2019, but their website went offline during the pandemic and never came back. As far as I can tell, the Canelli festival itself - even though it was THE tourist event for the whole region for decades, and encouraged the tickling stocks for 20 years (again, they were very popular with the tourists) - stopped in 2020 and never came back.
