I got my CT scan results and the tumour is now just a fraction of what it was and should continue to die off over the next year. The chemo has finished and now hopefully i can use my time off to entertain myself and you guys with some hot fox sister tickling art.

Cheers for your support over these dark months. Fortunately the UK had one of it's wettest summers ever so i didn't miss anything.


I feel really tired after 8 days in hospital fighting an infection and then hanging by the phone the last couple of days for news so i'll take a rest before I get down to work.

Let's hope that's the end of it.

Just a couple of small pictures.

First is Lucy on a boat up the Thames on a day trip in London. If you've ever been to London you might sympathise.

Secondly is - haha - a character who exists in words but has very little presence in the comics... so far.

Dominic Featherfinger is nephew to Dr Featherfinger and is confidante to the girls, who he uses as boy-magnets on nights out. He's a combination of Withnail from Withnail and I and Z-Man from Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, with a hefty dose of Mad Hatter-on-crack thrown in for good measure. In other words, he's screaming mad, Machiavellian and outrageously, aggressively and unapologetically gay, but immense fun to write.

Picture 1: The Thames area may be bleak (it's gray enough, certainly)... our giddy, guileless Miss Lucy brightens it considerably, though! Quite a view... anyone dumb enough to be staring at the water is a total waste of space!

Picture 2: Yipes! A... a tiara! And he's a smoker! In desperate need of a cod-piece, as well... this guy's priorities are all askew. M'thinks the boy's a non-conformist. Must have something substantive to offer if the girls like him, though.

Cheers Kyhawkeye. HOPEFULLY this is the battle won. the doctors are pretty sure about it this time and the periods between check-ups should increase more rapidly now. Avian Oddity is on course for a pre-christmas completion.

LBH and HDS: London can be good fun, but i'm not a great fan and find it a little claustrophobic. Don't pay heed to any film with Hugh Grant in it; London is nothing like shown in those films. I have to be careful because a couple of guys here are from there.

Dominic's interview should be completed soon, but making sense of it will be...a challenge. As for a codpiece, he usually wears one with his leather catsuit and Regency wig.

The Fox Sisters have taken some time out (i think they said they were going to Sea World) and right now i'm doing some non-tickling art for a project, but hopefully you'll see them again in November. I can't promise anything yet though.

Most delighted to see the Avians back in action! It's been so long, I've lost track of some of the plot threads (three young, nubile girls... naked... awash in down and bird saliva; I guess that's all I really need to know!) The giant barn owl (or whatever it is) that Nina just woke up looks pissed-off and hungry! Small wonder, if it's only had those spindly spiders for chow... let's hope she's not in danger of becoming bird feed! This does seem to be an actual physical threat this time, rather a different (more dire) proposition from the giggly encounters the Fox Girls have endured thus far. Though Goliath looks likewise formidable. He just doesn't seem to be as interested in eating!

Kitchenaut, my friend, you have an astounding style. The girls you draw are very sexy and the whole idea for the comic as well as the way of tickling is very original (at least to me). I have a picture I did for a friend featuring the Fox Sisters with his Victorian Science Hero characters.

It's only a concept for a crossover story but I thought i'd share it anyway as i haven't been doing that much art recently.
